Went down to my dealer when I saw the most beautiful thing I ever layed my eyes on (hope my wife doesn't read this)... A Citric Acid GT, Sunroof, Premium Sound, Manual. Asked the legend dealer if I could take it for a spin, and he goes off to grab the keys... Comes back, I get in the passenger seat so he can take it out of the lot, starts up the beast, and OMG this beast sounds so damn good. Then as he takes off slowly, I notice the suade (spelling?) inserts in the doors, seats, nice and comfy seats mind you... No time for that now, he decks it and I get sucked back into my seat like I've never been sucked before, the roar from this wild beast is just beautiful, there are no words to explain it... The dealer pulls over and lets me hop in, I slowly fumble with the clutch (not used to a new one), but don't stall it. The gear stick is a bit stiff (Don't know its because of the car being new or not), but I slot it into first and take of slow, then whack it into second and let her rip, I've never driven such a powerful car before and this is by far the best one to break me in..I didn't have time to look at the speedo that much, but I noticed some silly figure which I shouldn't mention here... Go around the block a couple of times, I start to notice just how big this car is, I don't know if its because I'm driving an old laser now, or its because of the massive buldge (not the one in my pants), but it is soo damn big, and feels pretty heavy around the corners and when on the brakes.. I almost start to cry as we make the loop back to the dealer, giving the beast the last growl for the day. It had 88km on the clock, and a 0052 build number, I'll never forget that baby beast... that's to my dealer (you know who you are), you made my day Anyone with the cash to go for a GT, do it!! I know I would!

It is based in Geelong. It is kind of like a Ford museum. It has some older classics, like the XY, XE, XF, and the newer linups, AU, BA, FPV BA. Got heaps of Merchandise (compared to any other Ford stand I've seen), photo's, even a theater detailing the start up of Ford, and how they build the cars now days. Be warned though, don't take your partners if they are not into cars... Always nagging, can we go yet, can we go yet... GRRRRR

That would be illegal, as they would be breaking a contract. If you put a deposit on the car, that car is yours.

GTT98, Give Westpoint in Melbourne, or City Ford in Sydney a call, I am sure they can do you a better deal. If you are interstate, they have done these types of deals before.

Load up my old mans VN Berlina on Thursday (The biggest car I got access to) for camping on the weekend, drive to work on Friday and on my way back from lunch I cop a massive hole in the radiator! Pretty pissed off at this point, cursing the damn crumpledore... Get the thing towed home, go to start my KC Laser, and you wouldnt believe it, the bloody thing wont start! Tried clutch starting the thing down the hill, no good, now I'm really cursing, a couple of neighbours come out to the front to see what all the noise is about.... Anyway, start doing what I dreaded, load up my Wife's trusty 90 Suzuki swift, somehow squashing everything in the back seat and boot. Drive off to the camp site, going down Mt. Victoria, dreading the day I have to go back up in a 1.3L with over 200kg of extra weight... Have a good camping trip, apart from the fact my I.T. hands have blisters all over them from chopping wood.... Packup, get back to Sydney (MT. Vic. wasn't that bad after all, went up all the way at 30km/ph in an 80 zone)...I see my lasers doors unlocked... Some ^%^% broke all my key locks with a screw driver, stole a pack of smokes, business card holder with all my XR6Turbo.com business cards in them, whole bunch of coins, and my XR Keyring which I got from Geelong......To makes things worse they emptied my ash tray all over the inside of my car!! Now I can't lock my car (cause I won't be able to open it again), this is gonna screw me bad when I trade this in for my Turbo.... Sorry bout the rant....had to vent my frustration somehow....
