Yeah the more I think about it the more I want an mk2... some of these mk1s are hitting 7, 8 , 9 years old... what's crazy is the mk2 were 55-60k drive away not long ago.... why won't they go down !! looks like they have held there value being the last ever F6 produced ..

hi all as titled suggests im in the market for an FG F6. previously owned a BF2 F6 typhoon and absolutely was in love with the thing... It was stock with just a K&N filter added and made just 220rwkw at autotech but it was amazing. the thing was immaculate and I stupidly sold it as I needed some funds for other investments in life at the time. Anyways, I'm now in the market for an Fg F6, it appears that the prices have held quite well....? I purchased my 2007 typhoon with 87,000km in 2012 for $26k and it was immaculate, now im looking at 5 year old Fg F6's (2012 models hence Mk2) and they are all mainly high 30s with 80,000km + and if km's are less they go well into the 40s and close to 50... due to these prices I'm thinking I will just go with an MK1 F6. are the differences/improvements of an Mk2 enough to justify price jump over the MK1? I do prefer the Mk2 rims over the dark agents and I've already experienced the twisters. apologise if this has been covered before...

solid figures ! if only the BA/BF series also underrated its power figures. my Bf2 F6 made 216 rwkw at autotech. in its defence a lot of other high powered cars were getting low readings that day (dyno day)

hey guys, just wondering how many of you have dyno'd your GTs in stock form and what power did you achieve? recently sold my BF f6 and looking to get into s/c Miami. (one drive in a mates s/c GS was all it took) im reading varoius reports that the Miami's power output is understated? was watching a youtube clip the other day where stock it pulled 334rwkw. im looking to just do a Tune and filter and from threads on this forum looks like ill be getting an easy 360 to 380 rwkw. thanks in advance guys

hi guys, recently on cold start my engine temperature guage goes straight past the half way mark and past the 3/4 mark... how can this be possible when the car hasn't been turned on for days and its completely cold??. did a coolant flush and had thermostat replaced to try and fix problem still the same issue. sometimes it sits normally on the 1/2 way mark and fluctuates... when I pop the bonnet it is not hot at all and appears to be at very normal temps. the car has never driven better but im just a bit confused as it is concerning sometimes when you say the needle past the 3/4 mark any ideas or help would be appreciated car is an BF2 F6 typhoon 100,000 km on the clock cheers

hey guys, dumb question but whats the difference between concentrate and premix? why do people go to the trouble of buying Distilled water and mixing it with coolant rather than just buying a "concentrated coolant" that's ready to go?

is the process to change the BF and FG diff bushes the same? many differences whats the rough price + labour on replacing all 3 rear bushes?

more sad news for our beloved blue oval :( unfortunately the 5.8L 492 kw engine from the shelby gt500 will never make it into a falcon... even something with low 400s would be great. GTHO phase 5 would be awesome...

nice stuff! 310rwkw with stock cooler? probably only lasts one or 2 hard runs and once temps increase power reduces from 310rwkw

seems like there really isnt that much difference.... another reason why FPV/ford has been smoked by HSV/Holden... they just rely on there engine and power rather than providing the customer with standard goodies.

why cant they bring the 662Hp / 493 kw 5.8 L supercharge GT500 engine into the falcon GT?

I can only dream and have fantasies about an understated 400kw GTHO Phase 5 FPV....

Just read that now also. 430kw that's nuts. Wonder how much kw per wheels. I'm inclined to believe the difference at the wheels compared to quoted hsv flywheel figures in past has been grossly significant.

I've had similar issues recently with the sunroof not closing properly. When I play around with the buttons it seems to fix itself. No I can't open my sunroof using the number 2 button which opens it up completely. Pressing number 1 pops it out as per normal. Any tips or ideas as to why number isn't working gents?
