Yer it was def slippery every time I hit top gear it would get heaps of wheel spin and yer that's right as soon as it starts to go good it dies in the ass. I can't wait to get back out there judging by the mph it should go very fast when it hooks up. Good times for the ute I remember seeing it out there

Thanks man, yer it was annoying but like u said it was awesome to be there, it was my first time racing and there is nothing better, um the stally, well I was told when I got the car it was a 2800 but when I got the gear box rebuilt I got the convertor loosened up another 500 or so well might see u at the track then

Yer *Beep* hopfully your car is ready it will be good, and no the car wasn't tuned with pipe off or intake and the car prob is over boosting a bit but it is still doing the same thing with pipe on and my previous xr6t had the exact same prob and it was valve springs :( . My first run I done a massive burnout then when I took off I had no boost the whole run and it sounded like the car was dying, so then every run after I didn't do a skid cos I wanted boost during run, well hopfully next time with slicks we can get some good mph again with a half decent time

haha yer street tyres, :( could not even move out of the hole with out heading for the wall and my valve springs are stuffed, they are coil binding so every time I come on boost it starts to fludder out and it has no boost, the one run where I smoked tyres off line then straitened up into top gear I went 12.40 at 127 mph, there were cars doing easy 10 sec passes there with that sort of mph, I checked the tyre pressures after that run and they were at 35 lol so I put it to 25 got out of the whole a bit better but would hit top gear and the car would just die on me no boost and sounded very sick, gso I got off it and putted throught the tramps at 12.30 108 mph haha nearly 20 mph less and faster time , so ill be back with tyrers and valve springs and should see at 10 sec pass

Well it was dyno'd last fri and it made 330 atw so that's wat I'll be on tomoro, u should come the weather will be mint, I was on the high way 2 Fridays ago and I heard u were out so I was keeping an eye out all night but still didn't see u lol, every where I stopped people would say over just left here

Well Im 95% I've got rears and semi slicks for tomoro night but either way I'll be going for a bit of fun on street tune so exhaust off headlight out and we will se how I go, is any one else off this forum going???

haha yer ive been on the monash a few times lately and yer convos on the front till I can afford the rears

haha well im going racing on street tune in the next couple of weeks when I get my rear wheels, and then ill be on race tune when I get the nack to race so we will see if the old girl still has it lol

got convos on the front now just saving for the rears should have them in 2 weeks, I think when the rears are on it will look so tuff, the fronts are 15 by 4" and the rears will be 15 by 10" wat do use think??? ohh and guages are gone too

Yer that's right made 427 on c16 with about 28 pound so I was told and on street it is 360 on pump fuel and 20 pounds but I don't no how it went down the track on pump fuel if any 1 on here no's I would be keen to no. wat about u have u done a race fuel tune yet? ha yer that me in the old INFLYT car, I couldnt be bothered spending massive dollars on mine when there was 1 there for sale, I paid 29 and sold mine for 26, so 3 grand upgrade foe a full motor and a 3 speed with 100,000 less kms isnt too bad. So u have a full motor and a bigger turbo now it must be insane, I so want a top mount just saving my pennies lol, oh and yer I thort u had the 9.22 car that's y I was like there is no way in fckn hell im racing him now haha, I just thort it was u cos use are both from over there.

hey blkf6, is your car the gtech car that went 9.22 or is it another car, I met u ages ago at coles behind chapel st in my old black xr6t the number plates were LSIETA, it was back when u didnt even have a motor build

I hope they fit, it had 15" when it was raced back in the day so I guess they have to fit, does any one no what type of rim it did have on it back then and any pics??????

well to be honest im not going to get my hopes up and im not going to strip the car down the first time I go either. I have never raced a car at the strip before so obviestly I will prob suck at it the first few goes untill the nervs and stuff go away but I will be taking a mate that is a very experienced drag racer and throw him in the driver seat for a few runs to see how he goes, so hoping for around 10.3 - 10.5 full weight with him driving the car, I cant find the pics of those roims they are on my mums computer so ill have to wait till I go there too see. Also im getting my rims made up I cant affford convos :(. Its 190 dollars a rim alls I need to do is get 4 au 15 in stockies and send them to a guy in moorabin and he will turn them into 10"s for the rear and 5"s for the front. Gunna get a set of slicks and some et's for the street so no more traction problems thank god, I can finally use the first 2 gears

Yer still runnin the c-9, it has a trans break as well, and yer I think a 2800 or a 3000 high stall in it, we are going to look into maybe going little bigger just have to see

haha yer ill check them out on ebay now, and my gear box wont be ready tomoro so ill be heading out in my dads xr gt, we just put a 600hp motor in it and just got a full body resto so im keen to have some fun, ill def go to this dyno night ill go on the web site now to see when it is, what suburb are u from we should head there together maybe? is it a forum if so can u let me no when and where, I cant be bothered signing up lol.

yer im no fan of the wheels either, and I have def been thinking about convos too, it would just be so tuff. AS for changing a few things on the car, well I think I have changed heaps lol, de spoiled, de badged, f6 front bar, xr8 bonnet, tail lights, guages and stuff. I really got to get the c/v sticker off the back. The only other stuff that I want to do is change wheels to black 20's and a set of convos with et streets for fri nights down the high way. Other than that I want to run another 9 the way it is then wack I big top mount on it and freshen up the engine in the next year
