Checked the number it's the same. Pretty sure it's for FG. It had a list of what it fits in XR6, F6, XR8, G6E etc. I must have put it in wrong coz im an idiot, lol I'll have another try tonight. Thanks guys.

Hey guys, just recently installed my new k&n air filter panel and it seems to be a tad to big. It sticks out a little on one side and I cant completly screw the screws down all the way. I tightened the screws as much as possible and just left it. Thought maybe it's a little bigger to cater similar airbox sizes. Once installed I went for a drive and found that the instant fuel economy seemed a tad worse then usualy and that when coming to a stop it would drop down to say 8, 6, 4, 3 L /100km then jump up to 10, 12 then back down to around 2. Not sure if it even affects the fuel economy, I may be just paranoid.. Also I know jack sh*t about cars Any help would be great, thanks!

Uh ok, just hopeing it doesn't sound as loud as the giant cannon I had on my old car. Seems like a bitta cash to throw at the car.. Will prob do it latter on down the track anyway. Cheers for the reply!

Hey guys! Been on this forum for awhile just looking at bits and pieces ( love the forum! ) and thought im not worthy enough to write on the forums till I actually own an XRT. So the time has come and last night I got one =D!!! It's my 2nd car and first ever turbo. All I can say is my god this car gets me toey! Bought a 2011 FG XR6 Turbo. - Winter white - 100km on the clock and $35,000. ( Had hail damge so they reduced the price but fixed it ) First thing to do is probably tint and get rid of them horrid rims. Not sure if I wanna do much more to it, don't want to void any warrentys yet coz im a wuss. Anyways, awesome forum, so much info and help. Good work guys
