  1. A good tuner will sort it out quickly and for little $$$$ as you have done all the work. could be leaking pressure from a hose.
  2. Sorry to hear about all your headaches but I feel you bro been there many times. one question who is your mechanic?

Guys there are good and bad everywhere we all need mechanics its just about finding one who is good and is trustworthy. I have a couple of guys who I deal with for different mechanical jobs and are both great. this guy which ill mention soon is a f*ck wit with a reputation for blowing engines on dynos and so on then cleaning his hand .I found out alot by researching which I should of done before I took it to him. now I have paid for it. I have to prove that he left the rage in the engine which is the hard part . because he can point the finger at anyone.

this is true ive owned the car since new meticoulisly looked after it from day one full service history so I now the car I did not want to put a second hand motor from ungly dave down the road that I found from a wreckers. so I opted for a built engine even though if this never happened it would of cost me not one cent. as the car was running fine.

that's right im out of pocket a engine rebuild and a turbo rebuild both done properly so you work out the $$$$$

I will champ all in good time . Had a hearing today and the person basicly said that he will take no responsability for the rag in the engine and said that it is not the reason for the engine giving way nor is the blown turbo cased by the oil supply being blocked from this rag. This is going to be delt with in a court in 6 weeks and a decision will come out of it just ave to make sure all my evidence is up to date because its up to me to prove he is at fault . Photo's ,reports service history so on. ill even wheel the engine in peices into the court room to prove my point. This *beep* is not going to get away with this.

fpv man Mate the fact that it had 385rwkws is not relavant there was a rag left inside the engine. wheather it was a standard engine nizpro engine atomic it dosn't make a difference. Yeah I will just so mr fpv can take his car there for its next tune.
  18. It sounds like a very common problem I have a ba but just fg running gear in mine and I now have this bloody noise which is called a roll over noise it comes from somewhere between your slave cylinder and flywheel when the car is at idle low rpm if you turn the steering wheel or put the ac on basicly put extra load on the car the noise will be more prominent.Once you put the clutch in it disappears because when you push down on the clutch there is load down there and everything is tight so it goes away let go of the clutch and it is back.Very common especially once you put a heavy duty clutch or once you put a short shifter any little mods just bring out the noise .I hate it just put a new moter and a tr6060 new clutch and I here this noise it kills me. I will get it fixed cause it shouldn't be there.

I running 385rwkws 1030nm torque at 16 psi and no traction loss at all but there brand new as they wear a little I might get some wheel spin.
  22. THCOOK posted a topic in Wheels and Tyres
just wanted to give my opinion on these tyres I have a Ba with fg f6 running gear had traction issues up until now put a set of invos on the back standard 18' size with F1 good years at the front. What a bloody difference its amazing how much quicker and enjoyable the car drives when you get great traction not having to pussy foot around in the wet or dry 10 out of 10 I think there would not be to many tyres that would have the traction as these and for a fantastic price. I Guarantee there would be no tyre on the market for the price of these that would come close to these .How the wear im no sure as they are new but in time I will let you know.
  23. elo mate there is no magnum box which comes standard on any xr ford. the best box is a tr 6060 which is the six speed out of the fg turbo, or NA they are the same except for ratios.mate I put a tr6060 out of fg turbo into my ba no problem just change cross member yolk and shifter. if you need one msg me.
  24. I had the same problem but it got alot worse once I put the boost up and it was a valve spring issue also I would be changing PCV Valve on top of rocket cover if your loosing oil somewear also check out the inlet of your turbo you could be burning oil thru it.
  25. hello mate they will not fit as the bolts on a ba/bf are east west and the fg is north south. I just put a tr6060 in my ba and had to get a fg shifter then modified to shorten it.
