I have my bf running a sniper as we speak, RAPHOON (another site member) has his turbo terri snipered and works just fine...... another member on this site has a snipered teri who lives in toowoomba (cant remember his site name), this teri goes hard!!... so all the cars that we have tried have worked... that's 3 out of 3 that I know. small numbers but at least no problems to report

onboost............yes but at the end of the day the customer has lost the most... and is the only one that does not stand to make a CENT on this........ sct know that... your tuner will be able to say to you "unfortunately sct have done this, there is nothing we can do about it. We can sell you a new upgraded version of the same product though" its not the tuners fault, and as such your not going to start screaming at him.... sct know this and are playing it in this manner

tuners can also make money out of this... they will get to sell you a new box etc etc... so its not as bad for a tuner as it is for the end user. sct farked the ens user over the hardest, as we get NOTHING out of this.

I dont give a rats about what capa did..... sct have made my box obsolete... a box that is meant to have 5 lives. if they render it useless, I will go them here is part of the reply from sct "If you were one of the first than that means you got the device in 2005. Please contact the dealer that sold you the device and let them know that you are not satisfied. SCT made the technology which works fine. We are no longer supporting the device due to prohibited actions by a dealer in AU'. esentially they want me to take the fight to capa.... a fight tht has nothing to do with me. Im not playying that game

sct sent me an email today... advising me that they will NO LONGER support the xcal 1. so guess you have your 90 days... hopefully people dont fall for the "you need to pay a little more for your tune now" instead of sct taking the fight to capa.... they p1ss off every past customer they have had and get them to do scts dirty work!! LOW LOW LOW

I paid for 5 lives on my box... it did not say that my box will rendered useless on such and such a day!!! It said that I willl have lives full stop! so the 90 dyas is not good enough sct.... I want my 5 lives... If I dont get it, I want the latest box in exchange for my current box that will be obsolete in 90 days dont take this crap guys

I should not have to pay any extra either..... the solution is not to sting us by making us pay more, all they want is more money...... that's a good marketing ploy to make the xcal 3 look more appealing... hmmmm should I pay more for my tunes or "upgrade" to the xcal 3....

agreed superdan... however, if you approach this in a manner that the department of fair trrading wants you to approach it, the tuner/supplier of the box is your first point of action.... if you dont approach it as they reccomend, then even they wll not help you out (department of fair trading). so there is no option really.... am sure the seller of the box understands that it is the unfortunately the first step of action if it should come to that

I was one of the first to buy a box (1st in brissie) and paid a premium at $1280 AUD.... if this box is rendered useless, I will take it further.... everyone reading this thread email sct NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! dont leave it to a few single people ot do it... numbers make a difference... After I heard what happened, I looked at her and thought "how could he".... give me just 2 minutes with him... that's all I want... poor girl, I can just imagine what was going through her head when DAD threw her over the edge... very very sad, and a very scary way for a little girl to end her life.

I think we all know that you dont need a 300awkw rex to beat a 300rwkw t... that's a no brainer.... yes there are heaps of 200 awkw rexs out there... and to date I have not been done by one..... I do know that you have a 380rwkw manual that wont break into the 11's that will surely get its arse handed by most rexes.... but just remember that MOST modded t's are autos..... and you and I both know that an auto with 290-300 rwkw will run a very ow 12 if not a high eleven. all this for about $2K.... sure they are not as not fun to drive, but hey they are shiat loads faster. Hey I like rexxes... I have owned them before... and am thinkng of buying another.... but lets get realistic..... on average whats going to be a faster street point and shoot weapon?? so whose cocky here?? not me.... whose bitter for getting smashed by 190awkw rexes?? not me Brian, with all due respect... how much money have you thrown at your rex to get it where it is??? now lets not forget that MOST people are not as fortunate when it comes to modding cars. and I think I would not be too far off when I say that most people will only ever spend a couple of K on mods. Now what will this couple of K get when modding a T power wise compared when modding a rex?? sure the 300 awkw STI will be a farking ball tearer, especially when you compare it with a FORD TAXI. But at the same time most of us dont get the opportunity to have multiple cars in the garage to modify... we have to work our family, our interests, our tinkering with cars etc around our lifestyle and incomes. I would guess that the vast majority would be in this boat. lets compare apples with apples
