yea matt and I both got the bf mk1 :( so didnt get the f6 bottom end but yea if I was gonna do a new motor I would for sure go atomic I dont think I would bother with a f6, if your gonna do somethin do it right the first time. But I dont see that happing in the short term for me apprentice wages aint so good

yea the wrx has straight cut gears, makes 220kw at all four on a mild tune, a retune should see about 300 at the wheels apparently??? I got no idea but I guess that would get it fairly well moving. And serious matty $2200 from bilo ford that's not bad, suprised they have done something right, maybe I should push mine harder too haha

so your still using stock pipes and an airbox with pannel filter with no lid, and still running stock boost? that's alot of pipes to go through and with stock boost it doesnt supprise me their is not flutter, a pod filter and you may get a little flutter

Can anyone tell me anything about a 01 wrk number plate "SPIKES" lived around rocky I am pretty sure, all built motor, gearbox ect sounds the goods a mate just bought it. Just wonder if anyone knows anything about it

yea matty its unreal fun going to the strip, but if I were you I would definately get some decent tread first cause I went there and you hear all these people 300rwkw an running 11s on semi slicks and I just went on street tires and it was good fun but I was a little disapointed that I didnt have a slip reading something faster I know I got lots of improving to do so its a good excuse to go back for another run haha

its sad but yes only 4-6psi stock depends how lucky you are, but after a custom tune it will fly. Can I ask what model, auto manuel, any mods, what are your plans for the car and anything else interesting I may have missed and

yea I do remember your car I think david I was in the phantasy purple (but I aint gay) with dark tail lights. I got a few mates in bilo that have some kinks to iron out before I head again, one needs a clutch, one needs a tune and the other is waiting on some fresh paint, none of these are fords btw I think that's half there problem haha jokes and most important some decent tread for me. I wont dare travel the gladdy to bilo road at midnight by myself too much wild life that's why I sit at the back of the pack, had 4 cars traveling back with me on friday night and we nearly collected 3 roos and a mate in his clubby hit a rabbit but holdens love dints dont they?

yea there were a few xr6ts on friday night but I didnt recognise any cars or number plates and I was pretty busy havin a go, I had the only 6spd auto there I think. And that 12.5 was on some soft toyo street tires not semi slick. Hopefully I can get my hands on a set of semis before the next one as I did struggle a bit on the starts but then again I aint a pro driver either but it will definately get an 11 with some good tread I recon, dave gave me plenty of torque to get her moving

I aint an expert but doesnt the cat start to restrict when you start running a bit of power??? I am sure someone else will be able to shed some more light on the problem

ended up going to benaraby last night I loved it car ran a 12.5 but there is so much room for improvement I didnt push it hard enough off the start, all a learning experience, hopefully I will get back there in the coming months try to crack a 12 flat

went to benaraby last night for the first time ever with a few mates, what can I say I absolutely loved it!!! My car ran well nothing fell appart or broke I ended up running a 12.7 on streets with LOTS of room for improvement, a mate gave me a 1 run with his semi slicks as we ran out of time and I ran a 12.5 but I had never used them so I had no idea what to expect so my launch was still crap but they gripped pretty well, lots of room for improvement I know the car has a high 11 in it I just gotta learn to drive haha. The whole way home all I could think about was draging again and I saw the lights around every corner is that normal lol

I got 320rwkw with 3grand all second hand parts, cooler, piping, injectors, exhaust, gauges, bling tail lights, bov, flash box and a tune only thing I bought new was the pump. I kept all my original parts but I did have to trade exhausts lets just say I was in the right place at the right time
