This is my first performance car, went from owning a standard lancer to bf2 turbo, stock no wanting to mod it then did a few mods got 287rwkw then did my cooler retune now running 324rwkw at 16psi with 950nm, very happy with it, anyone know how much power safely this car can handle. Mods- cooler with piping, 42lb injectors, walbro fuel pump, xforce exhaust 3 1/2 all the way through with 3 inch dump pipe, custom tune

I had the same problem once to same car as you saw the light checked the manual something to do with the emiisions didn't think much of it it got the better of me and took it to my tuner needless to say had nothing at all to do with the 02 sensor.

now that's funny $1750, getting rid of the crossover all new piping 3inch cold side 2 1/2 hot side,and battery relocated to the boot that's about all the info I got though but I thinkl your right about the china spec cooler though heard same comment yesterday when asking someone else. I know should have saved some more coin and got one of rapids top cooler kits.

I am getting a bigger intercooler done at the moment I asked what brand of cooler and he just says it is a generic brand good or bad.

Funny you say that cause I do have the side airbags and I did recently crash my car and the side airbag blew straight through the seat cover when I went back to the store to look for some new seat covers I come across the exact ones I just had on and it was advised not to be used with seats fitted with sideair bags lucky me I guess.

can anyone explain to me what exactly a monza cooler is or a wog cooler is exactly. sorry for the dumb question but im a bit lost

What about cheap car seat covers for everyday use and when going out just pull them off that's what I do and the leather should stay nice and clean and not to much wear and tear

I got the extended warranty when I broght my car from ford dumbest thing I did, modded already and never plan on taking it to them anyhow.

I would say 290rwkw got the same mods only u got the 60lb injectors I got the 42lb's getting my intercooler done next week the tuner told me when they tune it with the first mods if I had the intercooler done as well no doubt 300+ also you will need the clutch as well, mine was slipping straight away after the tune and it is a bf km11 with 7000k's on it so start saving.

not really sure what to do then cause 35% wouldn't look that great on octane maybe 15% might though tough call certainly don't want to void insurance seeing only got my car back from the panel beaters today after a 3 month wait from a insurance claim.

just wondering how dark I should go in my tint I was thinking the darkest witch I think is 5% but not to sure as have been told that my insurance will be up the creek if I have a accident. My car is a bf mk11 sedan Octane. any input would be helpful and if anyone knows of a good place to get it done in Townsville.

would be in for the gauges for sure only if it can get done soon though

just had a look at the car today and the srs light actually flashes on and off its not constanly on. does anyone have any ideas on that

what about a group buy on gauges. if anyone would start that group buy i would certainly be in it

But im sure I got told that with the bigger injectors it can not be returned to stock tune, also im pretty sure I read with the capa flash manual it has something along the lines of if they try and flash it back to factory with the bigger injectors it would mess the box up and it has to sent to the usa to be fixed. I could have read it wrong but its better to safe than sorry though.

I recently crashed my car and the side airbag deployed now the mechanics that are doing the side airbag have installed a new side airbag but the srs light stays on the dashboard. The insurance company told me that if their mechanic can't solve the problem they will send it to the ford dealership. The car has had a few mods including bigger injectors with a custom tune now if it goes to ford and they flash it will it mess my tune up and also will my capa flash box be useless after that also. Or does anyone think the mechanics have not installed the airbag properly to start with and it should not need to be flashed at all.Any feedback or help would be greatly accepted.

Sure its covered by insurance but still I,ve read a few posts on this site about other people getting their cars fixed by insurance companies and taking the car to their approved repairers and the job isn't done correctly. the car according to them won't be done till the end of Janurary and by that time it will have been 2 1/2 months without my car the last thing I want is to go get the car and realise its still not right and have it sit there longer.

Put me down for one im very keen how long to payment is needed and when can it get posted.

I Recently crashed my xr6t over a traffic island and into a sign post all drivers side panel need work and suspension arms are rooted. Been going out of my mind as to if my baby will be fixed to factory standard or will always have that just unusual feeling when I drive it. Just wont to know if anyone in Townsville has has and good or bad experiences with any smah repair shops.

Based in Townsville not much in the way of big name garages here.
