I agree brakes are ok as I have got used to them but they are a bit soft under the foot and at times you have to stand on them esp if they are cold ,not as sharp as my EL

$600 a tyre that's just a bit rich 4 me the 17" look good anyway I thought. As for going to a cheaper tyre I dont like the idea ,you drive a premium car ,put the best tyre you can on it ,its your own saftey in the hands of your tyres / brakes. A mate of mine has a rx subaru with 17" tyres and buys the $150 cheapies, He went through 4 blowouts in 3 months as a resuilt. other mates in their Clubsports and GTS with 17" tyres using Bridgestone so2 never had any troubles except wearing the rear due to having fun. A question when I was looking for my new wheels I looked at A SS but wanted 17" tyres to help save on maintance cost , was told you can't down size, size of tyre that is released with the car as you won't get insurance is this so?

I feel for you mate that's a long list. A mate of mine has a $200,000 X Type Jag R spec V8 twin superchargers nice car went like a cat out of hell ,but he has only had it to drive for a total of 6 weeks out of 12 months due to ongoing problems, as we speak,it still sits in a dealership garage with a sheet over it , he's still pays the payments for it, they offered to replace the car once but won't refund , still in court long battle he wants his dough back,His solictor said we will win this but you must keep paying the payments ea month for it...Another dealer even had it for a while, drove it around for days with a laptop on front seat to track the electrical problems with the car as it would just shut down while driving . He's got a longer list of replacements parts than you have . true story

why not just do a slow cruise 40/50 km for last few k's to home my thoughts your better doing this for a few k's so you still get air through the front instead of just sitting there in the one spot with no air circulation?

Hi all took a AWD GHIA for a spin today very nice car did'nt have the sting as a stock XT but not to bad ,with auto locked in 2nd it hung into the corners on a medium incline well too , The steering had a good turning circle and you did'nt have to worry about those damn speed bumps or driveways as you do in the T ,would love to get one for the other half as a everyday cruiser ,would look hot with a set of big mags like the 20" on the X5.

only prob with that Mick is that although you might park 200 metres away from everyone else, there is always some joker who will park next to you...just to sh!t you. yeah in a 4X4 that has'nt had a wash in 6 months.
