Drove it for a week or so. Felt very refined and almost too qiuet for me. Maybe because I was used to the old XR6T with the Pahse 3 tune and APS exhaust. Feels a lot more like a muscle car now. An exhaust was always going to be my first mod on the F6.

Nice car man..you're going to really fall for this car in a hurry. I had my doubts about buying a Phoon after really modding my last T but the Typhoon is a class car with underated power levels. You'll have no regrets. Looks tough, F6's in bright colours look the goods.

I had the Exforce Cat and Exhaust fitted today, including custom tuned Edit. ...feels just like the good old days Man I love the Typhoons!

Dude, rice it up if that's what you like. After all its your car and you gotta be happy with it. Ignore what some of the singlet wearing stiffs on this forum say about mods. A couple of years ago they were criticising mechanical mods as well. It's your T, go ahead and make it yours and be proud.

Hey there JB. Mate, I've been driving my wife's Kluger AWD so you can guess how keen I was to get the F6. I've really missed the 4lt turbo rush. Over the last 2 days I've grown to love the exterior (especially in that colour) so I'm thinking I'll leave it as a true F6. Mechanical mods mainly dude.

I don't think it does...but I'll keep the mods subtle, mainly working on the performance.

The car has: - 6 speed auto - 19's - reverse assist - sunroof - custom leather (will take pics...looks awesome) I'll be modding in 3 stages, starting this week. - xforce exhaust - wog cooler - edit and tune - injectors - lowered sports springs Even with Premium sound, the system is sh*tous compared to my old car - so I'll be needing some ICE gear as well.

I just picked up the new toy - what a wait! For a factory stockie, the F6 really is a complete drivers car. The mods begin after the weekend is over.. Here's a couple of pics taken on my phone. Dave

Tom, that's what my heart says too mate, but after my first car I really don't want to go out and get my auto re-built twice. I'll take the power up to the safest level the auto could handle reliably...whatever that is

Is there a demand for the F6 19 inch wheels on this site? What have they sold for, branch new?

Thanks Stef, some good tips there. The 5Zigen wheels I'm after are too pricey - TTF doesn'y stock them and can't get them. Tempetyressaid they could get them in, but they'd cost me $5500..

Sure Luke, It was Westpoint Ford in Werribee. Total discount was over $11,000. They admited to actually losing a few hundred dollars on the sale, but they promised me they'd come good on the best deal I could find. One of my best clients is mates with the dealer principal so it worked out ok. Let me know when you're ready and I'll ask them to look after you as well.
