I am thinking of kw's in the future (power) I'd hate to mod the standard turbo and then down the track have to upgrade. Like what james at bps said. Do it once do it right.

Iam getting mods done soon. pw stage 2 cooler and piping, 60lb injectors, intake that is supplied with the turbo, battery relocation kit and a hi-flow cat (for now). My goal is to get around 370rwkw. in the future And believe this is not possible with the standard turbo. I'll get the turbo fitted by a tuner. Ijust don't want to take car to a shop and then find out it won't without further mods.

I am getting a bigger turbo for my fg xr6t. I am buying an fg f6 turbo and want to know if it will be a straight fit or what will need to be done???

Hey mate, There isn't a pod or anything yet for the fg's but When I spoke to chris from rapidsystems the other day he said he is looking at making something for his g6et that sits just below the ICC. Going to get back to him in a few weeks to see how it's goin. ATM I think he has them sitting on his steering column temperarily. Hope this helps you as chris has helped me. Other option is the fg f6 dash cluster ?

Fords service seems to be the same everywhere. I have taken my fg xr6t to ford in toowoomba four times, just to fix the base of the drivers seat. I had the leather base replaced on warranty. It was loose and looked like sh#t. When I took it back. For some stupid reason the wankers tightened the base of the seat( Nuts and bolts) apparently. They obviously didn't see the leather nearly overlapping itself. The last time I took it there they sent my car to an upholster and had it fixed. I'm still not happy with it. The last time I took it to fraud, I also had 45k's distance to empty, When I picked it up it had 2k's left and had travelled only 16k's. I was farkin pissed off.

Hi guy's I joined the thread a while ago but Haven't used it much till now. As I have the mod bug and been getting lots of info. I bought an FG xr6 turbo ute in ego august last year. Will be takeing the ute to bayside performance shortly. I'd like to chat with hiro f6 if your out there your car is awesome.

My timing case had a leak too. All ford did was put a new gasket in. Hasn't leak in th 8000 or so k's.... Yet
