I am looking at getting some personalised plates for my Shockwave BA MK II XR6T... I am getting it put on liquid gas, so dont mind having this as part of the plates... Hi boys (and girls?), I am getting a tune n 29th of September after getting Liquid Gas Injection fitted to my car on Sept 22nd... I wanted to see who can predict what I am going to get out of my car... :-) How knowledgable are the T Forum boys??? Background info... BA MK II XR6 T, 60kms, T56... Mods to my car by the time it gets tuned... F6 COLD AIR INTAKE K&N PANEL FILTER RAPID UNDER BATTERY INTERCOOLER PIPING SEIMENS 60LBS INJECTORS MONZA COOLER NIZPRO VALVE SPRINGS 3.5 INCH XFORCE CAT (570CFM) CENTER MUFFLER REMOVED - TWIN 2.5 INCH EXHAUST IRIDIUM PLUGS GAPPED TO .8MM LIQUID GAS INJECTION WITH INJECTORS RECALIBRATED TO MATCH MY 60LBS INJECTORS... Give me your prediction on what Mick at Pit Lane Performance (No pressure Mick!!!) is gonne get out of my car on Mon Sept 29th... :-) I will post the results on here that night!!! Me??? I am not sure... I am in two minds... If I get too much, I will need a new clutch but I will have awesome power If I dont hit that magic 300... I think it will be time for more upgrades... Hi mate... I am getting it done at Swift Automotive in Dandenong South... Over the next few months there will be about 10 companies who are fitting the kits... The best people to speak to regarding this is the Australian LPG Warehouse in Frankston... Australian LPG Warehouse (03) 9770 2287 They are the ones who make the kits available, so they will know who can fit them etc... They will be able to tell you if anyone in South Australia can fit them... If you are going to come to Victoria to get it done, you will need to plan a holiday. Unlike some other gas systems, Liquid Gas take 4 days to install. Oh... I forgot to tell you... I am not getting my tank in the spare wheel... I am getting a normal tank. The boot is big enough for me, and if I need to I can use the Territory to carry stuff around... :-) Hope this helps mate. Cheers, Worm

COIN = $4600 for full install plus I am paying $100 extra to have my injectors recalibrated to match my 60lbs siemens... I have bitten the bullet... I am gonna do the valve springs before... Are Nizpro a good option??? How much kw can they handle? Worm

Just a quick update... In less than 3 weeks I should have my T on liquid gas... And tuned pumping out around 250-270rwkw... I am told I should be able to get 250 out plus they get an extra 18rwkw with more timing cause gas is a higher RON... So... I will let you know. My only real issue I think will be my valve springs... But I can always upgrade them in the future... My clutch wont be able to handle too much more then 270 so I will keep it like that (unless it busts... Then I will HAVE to get a new clutch... Unfortunately... Well, that's how I will play it with the wife :-)

Not sure if they come out in that size, but you could give MAXXIS MAZ1's a try... I have had them on my car and been very impressed. Long wear, great grip and low noise... And cheap... My two cents

As far as I know out the side is illegal unless it is a show/members group car (ie. those special plates). You are not allowed to dump the pipes before the diff... Something to do with emissions getting into the cabin. W

I have a 2005 BA MKII manual T... What is the most RWKW someone has managed to get on stock valve springs??? Would be keen to know. And what other mods did you have?

I haven't seen Rims that you can change before... how hard is it? Is it just a matter of undoing with a hex key? Worm

I want to install a 3.5 inch high flow cat to my BA MK II XR6T... I know they have a 3.5 inlet standard and twin 2 1/4 outlets... My problem... What do I need to buy and where from? I am in Melbourne... I want 3.5 inch cat (200cpsi) and to fit it to my factory dump and exhaust... (I am not looking for excessive horses...) Any help appreciated. Cheers, Worm

Hi people... Thought I would just throw this out there cause I know a few of you may be interested.... Does anyone want me to keep them updated on my Liquid Gas Install? I am getting Liquid Gas in late September on my 2005 BA MKII MAN XR6T... At the moment I have removed the center muffler, put on a MONZA cooler, fitted an under battery pipe, K&N filter and phoon intake... Whats up next... Well, as I am installing Siemens 60LBS injectors, I will also be getting the gas injectors recalibrated to match the 60lb injectors to match the flow rate so I can use the same tune on gas and petrol... (Maybe my capa box will be pointless then???) The only other mod I will be making before I get the gas and new tune will be a high flow 3.5 inch cat... (Fitted the day before I get the gas on)... Does anyone know of a Y piece that fits from the cat to the standard twin exhausts? I think there may be an XFORCE one out there? Let me know if you are interested... Thanks dude... Here was me feeling envious of everyone else's rims...

Yeah I paid $1300 for the rims with brand new tyres (Dunlops) that came off an FG XR6T that had done 10kms... Yes, I mean 10 kms not 10000kms... :-) Pretty funny when Ford wants $700 a rim and $450 a tyre... Loving the new setup re: suspension... Full Monroe GT shocks when I did the springs... Handles very nicely and I can still get up the driveway! I would always love it a bit lower, but I prefer it to handle well and be able to get up my driveway! I got the exhaust done by Fastfit in Cranbourne... Wasn't just the tips... Teddy there is awesome... He does everything at the right price for anyone... I would suggest the twin tips would be somewhere around $70 to $80 from him... I am surprised so many people have said they like the FG 18s on the BA... I personally prefer them on my car then the FGs... :auto: Worm

Hi guys... Well, I finally took some pics of my T from the side... I know a few of you wanted to see it... I have lowered it with SLL/SL combo... I removed the factory tint and put on the darkest (and most expensive ) one I could find... Only other exterior mods are a twin 2.5 stainless exhaust dumps... and an XR front bottom grill (and the cooler of course...) Actually... One more exterior mod some of you may notice... FG XR6T 18's... Let me know what you think... I think FORD would sell many more T's if they came out of the factory looking like this!!! Worm

Looks farkin rad!!! Love those wheels. Have always wanted a set... May have to upgrade... No spoiler looks good too. I agree, once you dump the rear end it will look even awesomer... Dont know about the orange walls... Maybe you should get them concreted first before you paint as painted bricks are awful... Someone around where I live has friggin bright purple!

So... If I put Valve Springs in and I only ever want 300rwkw at most, what should I put in and how much should it cost... I have been quoted $900, but I saw some people in here got the Nizpro Valves (On a group buy) installed for less than $700... Worm
