hi after I seen the mrbeans 10.5' screen install and djmickyg 7' screen instal I thought I would give it ago so here is a few pics some pics are warped not sure why

if your looking for the silver fpv color, I found at auto barn in the touch up paints its POWER PLUS- asteroid silver code pj9120, I used it to match my gear stick surround and guage holder plate to match the fpv premuim sound I had in car, I am a similar job to you inmy car and will use this color, how many icc fasicas did you use to make your one good one

wrms is the nominal running power, your speakers are 120w peak and 60 rms so they are 60w speakers, the max power figure is just a selling point. same as your sub its 300w max but 150rms. my subs are 400rms so 800 watt max. as for speakers in the utes standard there one in each door one behind each seat and I got tweeters in the pillars in corner of dash

I have the same problem and went and asked how much and told me 100 bucks bloody rip off is there any where that would do it cheaper, or can it be done with obd tool?

ok did a bit of a look around and the xr8 has a t3560 in it and the turbo and xr6 have a btr t5 or something

did anyone find out if they had a different t5 yet very interested to know

if you hit half a brick on the freeway at a 110 they will crack :( just happened today 18' gt p 7 spokers I think they are now I got to find a new one

would you sell the software to ppl who already have a carputer? also how are you getting the readings from the car through a cable of some sort would you be willing to make these or tell us what cable you are using so we can make this work in our own car? so a software price to start with?

one will thump your ears out awsome subs, in the right box it will give you an ear infection, they have taken over the 15' sub in the jl range, I got 2 because the box I have in ute had 2 12' kickers 400rms each but they where dual voice coil d4s so with 2 I could only get the ohms down to 4 or 1 and my amp is 1000 rms at 2 ohm so I was not gettin enough power that's why the upgrade. if you can afford the jl you will never ever go back, even on the RF subs jl really does sh*t on it

I got in my ute -2 x 13' jl subs w3v3 400rms each pioneer front splits vdo dayton 150rms 6.5 splits in rear alpine v spec 1000wrms amp alpine 500rms amp 360.1 controlin it blaupunkt video to tft screen converter just waitin on half din dvd player I got all for cost through mate and still spend over 3000 easy sounds f*ckin good though

ok guys update I now have hard lid I got 2 13' JL w3 2 sets of splits, color tft screen, pumpin out a sh*t load of db's with this setup, as for mods twin exhaust, capa tune, 2 cold airs under light and one above radiator, k&n pod in xr pod cover, was head to head with a vz 297 clubby today neither of us had an edge over each other draw happy camper here

hey I been on here a while now but did not register in this forum, I from melbourne, have a white ba xr8 ute with persuit wheels, twin exhaust and a capa tuner. since been on here I have done the whole stereo 2 subs, and now with the dvd color screen, thanks guys with all the help off this site very useful place, makes me spend to much cash

off topic but is this the tft screen that can have dvd hooked up to it ?

they only difference is in 2 you can indivedually tune each speaker with more detail, its for full on compettition I was not sure which one to get but I dont even access the 360 setup anymore and its been in for a week I just wanted it over the lc6 but that does as good of job in my mates xr6. 360.2 has more equaliser tuning bars per speaker eg the 360.1 front speakers have 5 band equaliser adjustment and 360.2 front has 31 band equaliser, I would not no where to start adjusting either lol other than that they both have same features aux in for ipod it excellent quality

p platers need a fast car to be cool if you appreciated the look just get a xr6 why does it have to be a turbo, HAS TO BE A TURBO SO YOU PS CAN DO BURNOUTS AND RACE OLDER GUYS SO YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR BETTER THAN THEM, get over it once you got full licenceget wat you want. 25% of male suicide is because of debt from owning expensive cars young and cant afford it, the maturity aint there fo yas to have fast expensive cars young.

yeah as said above it does sound awsome sound is crystal clear but that also comes down to, your amps and speaker qaulity, I did go all out this time to get good sound and it has paid off, I have not done massive amounts of tuning on 360 I done most of tune through amps, I used the 360 to get sub control though

mate draw a better one that pic just shows how to get the speakers sorted out, im sure they no how to wire an amp my pic shows how to sort out the speaker part cos that's the hardest part, if you ead caption at bottom it says do this for all speakers, dont use it mate but its clear as day to me, ok amp wiring everyone imagine lines between 360.1 and amp and that's your rca's

I went for 1 and I got it for 200 bucks that's why I got it, and I would not need all the adjustment that they have on 2, I ran wire to let kick panel and right kick panel one pair form left goes to 360 and other to amp, then same from right side, (speaker pair goes to amp other one goes to 360 which is the wire comin from head unit, I made a pic to help

for the tweeters drill river out then unscrew tweeter off bracket then double sided tape the tweeter on then screw braket back on, I put 6' splits into the doors no mods, and 6' splits into back with little mods to the standard bracket

hey its all sorted, I am running a rockford fosgate 3sixty.1, and I needed constant 12+ and acc 12+, I put acc to remote and all works good running vdo 6 inch splits rear, pioneer splits front, 2 x kicker 12' cvr subs, 1000w rms amp, and 400 rms amp,

lol thanks guys yeah its real nice thing to drive and steps nicely when you kick it haha, I just put all new speakers and subs and amps in it running off a 3sixty.1 connected to standard head unit, would like to get guage pod to watch the oil pressure, as I have heard the xr8 have dodgy oil pump gears (not sure how true this is). motor wise it has straight through win exhaust from factory extractors, I looking at getting a capa tuner next week. not to keen on pulling motor apart for cams or anything. would like to get a hard top for it too, if anyone has one or knows someone who sellin one send them my way.
