Mine lasted 4 yrs and 100,000+ before I pulled it out and sent it away to handle alot more power. And that's a Ba bottom end mind you.

Higher intake temps can result in detonation, that's why its always a good idea not to skimp on a decent intercooler.

I think valve springs should be done first before your next retune, and a decent cooler goes a long way for reliablilty.
