I have been running RDA Slotted and dimpled rotors since 2006. Done more laps of Wanneroo than I can count and never had a problem with them. Drilled rotors are the ones to worry about as they stress and crack around the drill holes. My original Brembo rotors lasted 9 laps of Wanneroo before cracking up. The problem with the tree huggers is you cant keep them happy. E fuel is near zero emissions but then they cry because we are using farmland to grow fuel not food. I am still laughing at the huge extra carbon footprint from the pirates recovery on the Jap whaler.

No mate, the permit does not list the model number. Only that a Kenne Bell has been fitted. It looks the same anyway. The 2.8HLC is the same case size as the 2.6L. I can not fit the 3 litre KB uner my bonnet sadly. Still only 380KW LA2 permit...lol.

That was at the vines resort, Option 1) Use 10 guys and dismantle all peices and carry down maybe cost 31/2K Option 2) 220t crane to reach it at a cost of maybe 4K and the risk of damage to paths roads etc. Or option 3) Use a Heliwest crew. $3600.00 total. Easy and not expensive. We do a few for the big shopping centres like this too.

You mean the Tower Cranes?? They get a bloody huge lump of concrete in the ground to bolt too. Use "Floor based cranes" to erect some of the tower then use a bigger "Floor based crane" to lift the top crane part on. After that they erect themselves. What happens is the top section jacks itself up, then lifts up another frame up on its own. A monorail gets hold of it and you slide it under the top. Then the top bit jacks back down and you bolt it back up. So they climb the building on there own. As you go up most tie into the building for extra support. The really tall ones like in dubai whave there own smoko room, kettle oven etc in the cab so you dont have to come down. If that fails theres always the Heli option

Tyres age is relevant to wear. Oler tyres get harder and wear out slower, but you compromise grip. A year old is not too bad. I buy my crane tyres and store them in the shed for at LEAST a year before I use them. They last twice as long. But the crane is not trying to break track records on roundabouts ...lol

1 drum is about $600.00.... And it only lasts me a week!!! I am working on getting it for the cranes. Just have about 3 years of paperwork to do with the storage and handling of this volatile corn juice... Stupid WA regulation people!!
