Just a quick question: I have a BA xr6T 4speed auto with 301kw at the wheels. What would be the approximate KW at the engine? Cheers

If I buy an aftermarket one, where do you get them? And is it just the one diff bush or are there different types....

I have the same issue in my BA 1 xr6t. Clunks when I shift, when I slow down and take off. Not happy.

I had a massive hissing noise, was a tiny pencil sized hose under the throttle body, but could hear that even at idle.

Hi guys, As I have already posted I got new springs fitted and now my ABS and TC lights are on, I have no ABS or TC. Ford here want 100 bucks just to scan my car and tell me what is wrong with it, then god knows how much to fix it. I'm hoping to get it scanned and try and fix the problem myself. Does anyone know of anyone with a scan tool that wont charge me 100 bucks? Or any other ideas? I'm guessing one of the sensors was knocked or something while the springs were fitted. NOT HAPPY.

I'm running the exact setup and it will sag a bit. I didn't want to drop in on the ground and have to worry about speed bumps and stuff, looks good mate. I think a nice height, not too stupid.

Will insurance not cover these blokes because they are being charged? Good to see they all walked away, cars can be replaced of course.

Nah it was just a little workshop, all that was done was replacing my front and rear springs. They must have knocked something.. Because it was all working fine before the job.

Hi guys, just got the T lowered, 90,000k's and no real dramas since I've owned it. As soon as the car was off the hoist and I drove off, I noticed both the TC and ABS lights are lit.. Put it back up on the hoist and the guys at the workshop went over everything but couldn't find the issue. I've had a search on the forum and found alot about faulty speed sensors, but I cant see mine being faulty if it was fine one minute, then I lowered it and now it isn't.. Any Ideas? Really bugging me.. By the way, car looks nice at new height, will get pics once I pick up my rims.

Yeah I got the same reply from them yesterday, so hoping to hear from them again today to sort it all out, they are pretty cheap too! I remember the post you made, I had them bookmarked in my browser since then and found them again. I love the colors, and the fact that the boost is in PSI. Thanks mate, I do love those 'ozegauge' gauges, but I'm really set on a PSI boost gauge and not bar.

I'm starting to think very poorly of FORD's build quality. First my ignition stuffed up and I haven't even fixed that yet. Now my rear Right door wont lock at all. When I lock the whole car, a weird noise comes from the rear door and it doesn't lock at all, allowing the "locked" car to be opened by this door. Really p*ssing me off. Going to get it looked at tomorrow, I smell $$$$

antigrav what mods are you running? Do you have standard or have you gapped the spark plugs? Mine used to make the same noise after I flashed it until I re-gapped the plugs, I think it was the boost blowing out the spark.

Problem solved, was a tiny pencil sized hose under the throttle body that had come off the plastic joiner. I can't believe the noise that was coming from the engine bay as a result of this little f*cker, and the panic it caused me! Popped it back on and it is all back to normal.

Okay I have now taken off the pipe from the air intake to the turbo, all looks okay. Turbine wheel seems to be in good order. WTF is wrong here? Starting to get worried..

Hi guys, have just been back from a drive today, haven't been giving the T a flogging have just cruised home and all of a sudden there is a constant hiss under the bonnet. It's very loud and sounds as if it is coming from the throttle body area, though I took the intake pipe off the throttle body and it isn't coming from that. I have no idea at what to check for next, it only happens when the car is running and sounds horrible. It seems to stop once I am actually driving and accelerating but comes on again if I am just cruising. Car seems to be coming on boost and driving fine except for this noise.. At first I thought it was a flat tyre, sounds like a constant hiss of air. Any thoughts? I'm worried it's something bad...
