Mechanic still hasn't received the clutch and its bits :( Back to work today. Gone for a month. Atleast I'll have a nice new clutch to run in when im back :D

I go.. when im in perth with a working car. We should get a cruise going for end of november/decemeber . Its when im gonna be on holidays ! wewt!

Sure is getting a few long responses to Mate im 20. I bought my car brand new in may when I was 19. That was $46k + some extras. + $2300 for insurance. What people say about them being a black hole is completely correct. ive owned this brand new car for 5 months First week I own it: gets bottled. 1 month after owning it: kids jump infront of the car I swerv and hit a tree doing 10k damage. 4 months after owning it: I get a flash tune. this = most amount of fun ive had in quite a few years. 5 months after owning it: I blow my clutch up. literally. (see drive line section) so lets see. so far in 5 months. 46k + 3000 (defense package) 2300 (insurance) + 600 (excess on crash) + 3000 (new clutch and bits and peices) = 55k damage to my bank account in 5 months. You know what. Best f*cking waste of money I will prob ever spend :D Also. I got finance throught ford credit. I got a lower percentage than bankwest would offer me. and bank west was saying they had the lowest % for car loans at the time. So it aint that bad. All I have to do now if knuckle down and pay my loan off. Now some of you may wonder why I even posted.( Im not sure either so dont worry.) It doesnt really tell you anything besides saying they are a huge black hole. which everybody older and (hopefully) more experienced understands. But there is a reason why we all love and waste our money on these things. They are fun. Pure and simple. Its a pleasure to drive. every time the boost kicks in. I get an unnatural grin on my face. But anyway. my conclusion = Have some f*cking fun with these things. its what they were made for.

How is that for service =D

Lately ive been lucky to get 400km a tank. But since I work away when I come back to perth I kinda just throw the car around. Since it is a toy and its meant to be used =P The best ive gotten out of it was about 550 km. that was like the 2nd week I had it. Before I had the guts to actually drive it

My bad <.< Spoke to mechanic today and he actually had ordered the mal wood clutch with out me asking. so it all worked out pretty well in the end Car prob wont be done till next week but no matter. no I just gotta find the dosh to pay for it all hehe

Yeh mechanic said yesterday he is estimating 2k-5k damage depending on wether I bent the input shaft to the gear box aswell. Really f*cked it up eh. its all fun and games aint it :D Except now im not going to bali...or getting my door fixed

Ah k. cheers. Mechanics gonna have a full look through it on monday then give us a heads up on price. ill ask him about it when that comes around, but thanks

Was being a dickhead tonight and heard a big bang. Lots of smoke and things falling on the ground in rear view mirror. I think it was my clutch. its all sitting in my boot at the moment so I might be able to grab some pictures tomorrow. <.< Mate says it was caused by the clutch slipping and over heating or something like that. But ohwell. Getting it towed tomorrow. Its what I get for being a moron right

Mine work fine. Not that I have any illegally burnt CD's right <.< And I know it's my fault 'cause I didn't research it. But I was devastated when I realized these cd players didn't play MP3's. I have a nice fat folder of CD's now un-usable in my car :( I kinda assumed they would play mp3 considering hilux's decks can play them other than that. Can't wait to pump some cash into the sound system. After the engine. and exterior

I feel ripped off... I had 27 km on the clock when I picked mine up :( bastards And then I did 1100 Km in 4 days Beat that muwhahaha

And im another. Few weeks ago some kids ran across the road infront of me. I swerved them hit the curb on my right front wheel. spun around almost 180 and my left front and rear tyres hit the curb dead flat then I bounced up the curb and hit a small tree just infront of the rear tyre on the side skirt. called the car place today. Bloody $9500. Side skirt. window. Back left wheel. Front and rear suspension was absolutely rooted. Plus its gonna cost them more because they didnt know I had the paint protection and window protection stuff on. Should be ready end of this week *fingers crossed* When I first crashed it didnt look that bad aye. But after its been checked out you can see what happens underneath the car.. I was hopefully looking at doing under 1k damage. Now its 10 x that amount. Luckily its only $600 excess. So aint that bad. Everybody ive been talking to says I just should have hit the little pricks cause apparently they have been doing it on purpose in that particular area. Also they have been throwing rocks and passing cars and laying starpickets on the rail road tracks so it mess's with the boom gates. I just cant understand what goes through these kids heads when they are playing chicken with a car.. makes me sad and now I have to pay this small amount. But its still an amount for something not my fault. but what can ya do.

Thoughts? Many people had accidents from round abouts? I for one had one last year but luckily the only damage my El falcon took then was a dent to the number plate. And that was actually a 4 car mingle... As some will know im a P-plater and I have to admit. 75.24513% of P platers are naive and stupid. Have no reactions and generally lack common sense. But wait. This applies to ALL drivers. Not just P-platers. Anyway to the story. About 5 cars driving along a 50km street heading up to a large round about. (Hence the lack of damage) As the round about is pretty large and everybody can quite clearly see how open the road was with no traffic coming in from the right the P-plater in front saw a magical truck and must have decided f*ck THIS. Slams on the brakes about 15 m in front of the round about. DINK DINK DINK DINK. Like I said. No damage to my car and only minor bumper damage to the front 2 cars. Seriously though. Some people will no doubt say it was all the cars faults for being so close but as it was VERY unexpected I thought it was quite lucky nothing major happened. But Im kinda rambling. So im going. But yeh. LETS TALK ABOUT ROUND ABOUTS BABY. *cough*

Hey guys. Got my 3k service coming up next week and as we know about the steering wheel and all I was just wondering. Would it be worth it just getting some pics and videos of my car with the fpv wheel on there for the "just in case" side of things. Do the different ford car yards ever communicate. Cause im not taking it back to the one I bought it from because where im gonna get it serviced is a lot closer to my work. Maybe im just paranoid ford is out to get me <.< What ya say. I got nothing to worry about right? :D

Last night went to movies.. Guess who was there the one and only XXXr6t with his nice shiny yellow car. Parked right next to ya aswell as I went to movies. But ya musta still been inside when I left. I was gonna leave a little note but I had no pen or paper :(
