that's true. But at the moment my car has been off the road for 3 months and I refuse to buy another auto box so at the moment just looking to get it back on the road with not a whole lot of money. I figured $450 now and car back is better then $1200 in 2 months time

been out of this area for a while now.. are there many tuners still able to put generic and custom tunes on the capa 1 boxes still I remember when capa when through that little phase, only certain tuners could still use the capa 1 box

Hey guys Ive got the chance to get an Xtreme clutch, flywheel, pressure plate and slave cylinder for $450. Just wondering if you think this is a good deal? Apparently only done 3000km on a car running 380rwkw. 211rwkw stock doesnt sound right? I was under the impression stock these only hit about 190ish rwkw.

thanks guys appreciate the advice. The way I see it too is that its management experience for the resume. Plus I kind of switch on and really thrive on high pressure situations at work and I enjoy pressure and responsibility. I dont mind stepping in and getting my hands dirty so to speak as far as cooking and such, I just didnt want to downground to a job I want the main part of the job to be management, not cooking and customer service ya know I know what its like to be a manager at a pub and club cause ive been there, but being a franchise, wasnt sure if the owner would do most of the management type stuff and instore manager basically makes sure it runs fine and dandy

I saw avatar last week.. after all the build up I was a little disappointed. If it wasnt for the awesome 3d look it wouldnt have much to impress me, found the storyline a little boring on the other end, I saw Green Zone tonight and highly recommend it. Top movie lots of action, matt damon good as per usual.. recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good action or modern day war movie

Hey guys how are we? Im just wondering if anybody has been a manager at hungry jacks before? Ive been offered the job but unsure as to whether it would be right for me. Id imagine from what ive been told that it would be supervising of staff, rostering etc but I dont want to take the position if im still gonna be stuck working behind the front counter or in the kitchen. Im not 14 and never worked in maccas or hungry jacks before, I dont wanna be flipping paddies lol but if it would mainly be a managerial position with now and then helping out on busy days then might think about it cheers guys

mate im doubting it.. single din fits in but to get a double din in it would have to be mounted at an angle which means it would hit the bottom and would have to stick out quite far I would say, but just what I think im not 100%

if your car is still pinging change the plugs, im surprised nobody has said this yet. When running a flash or custom tune, u need to gap your plugs. Pick up a good set of ngk or typhoon plugs from ford and gap them to I think its around 0.75 to 0.8 and u should be right with the pinging

Hey guys just enquiring as to whether or not ford can install their tunes on a car that has once had a flash tuner but now back to stock. Took my car to ford after installing a new gearbox to put the new green gearbox tune in just to make sure the oil pressures and that were running right. Ford reckon because its had a flash tune in the past (it has been returned to stock tune) it wouldnt let them install there tune. Personally I think its a load of crap. Ive heard of ppl taking their cars to ford with the flash tune still on the car and ford have put theres on and overwrited the flash tune so anyone know what the go is?

go the acid rush lol I do have a certain friend in canberra that would like to see me come down that way again lol but dont think id have the time and money.. it is possible by all means, obviously lol the local audio place were talking about wiring up the head unit to the speakers straight up which I know have mine set up like. Much better sound quality as its running straight off the head unit. But if u dont want to lose your steering wheel controls then the way this write up suggests would be a much better deicison for you. If your up newcastle way at some stage id be happy to help you out one day, for a cheap price of course lol but if your sort of comforable with wiring and electronics, print out my write up and go by it and u will be right buddy

how much do u think id be looking at for a manual tailshaft

Hey guys probably a silly question but im wondering about shortening an auto tailshaft to fit a manual conversion. Is this expensive, how is it done, are you better trying to get a manual tailshaft to suit? Any information is greatly appreciated cheers

$1495 seems a bit expensive really awc do them a lot cheaper

mate for aux u need to get an aux booster kit from ford. Install that and then run your head unit off that for speakers u cant just tap into them, u have to replace them. U either have head unit or icc, not both. If u want to do that u need hook up head unit speaker wires to the icc wires behind kick panels there are 3 sets on passenger side and 1 set on drivers side but if u arent confident or know what your doing I wouldnt recommend it as there are about 200 wires there lol and can cause a lot of damage to your car if u cut wrong ones

Hey guys There seems to be a lot more people getting sick of the crappy stock stereos in the ba/bf models and wanting to upgrade to premium icc and/or a aftermarket head unit in the tissue box. Due to this and the many questions I have been getting on my install im offering full stereo installation services to any ba/bf owners willing to bring their car to my house for installation. Will do it cheaper than installation companys such as JB Hi Fi. I have abn numbers and can provide receipts for service. Below is a picture of my stereo which I completed in a few hours. I used to go on some of the KK cruises and stuff I went to school with mitch but dont really get into these days too busy with work. Plus just got another gearbox put in so gonna try and take care of it for a while lol
