  1. Any mass produced product will have 1 or 2 slip through the system. We also don't know the full story on those cars. I personally have owned 2 XR6T's and I'm still smiling over 3 years latter. Most of the guys I know that own them are very satisfied with their purchases. Take one for a test drive if you like it buy it, if you don't like it buy something else. Geea.
  2. Great stuff guys. A PB is always good especially when the 2nd diget is a new one. Welcome to club 11. It's still a rather exclusive club. Geea.
  3. After having a look at the time slip I'd go with the 277rwkw's. Geea.
  4. Do you have any auto mods Luke? that's a great time for that power. When do you plan on testing your new tune? Geea.
  5. What was the actual 60' ET and MPH? Also when is A.I.R. expected to reopen. It's amazing that after all this time I still have the SA record. You croweaters are slower than the Tasmanians. Geea. ← sorry, 60' was 2.00 mph was 115 time was 12.3 and rumor has it we may have a track again in Oct-Nov, hopefully this year ← My old car had the same power for the same results. It's best was 12.24@115 with consistant 12.3's with 281rwkw's. This was with Dunlops on 17's with stock stall. This thread is starting to show similar power generating similar results. Rob had a valid point though. A person who isn't very good at racing will cause the car to go slower than an experienced driver. Geea.
  6. Could you post up a how to guide on the "dry ice". Geea.
  7. I'd love to help Rob but I have got no idea how to do it either. Geea.
  8. Nah that wouldn't count. Then you'd have the Vic record, that would also be the Aus record too. Here is the current list of SA times. I think Bob Jane must be a Victorian. A vic gets the SA record and then he closes the track. Hopefully a few of the SA guys will make it across for the BVW2. Geea.
  9. What was the actual 60' ET and MPH? Also when is A.I.R. expected to reopen. It's amazing that after all this time I still have the SA record. You croweaters are slower than the Tasmanians. Geea. ← A bit hard when Bob jane won,t open our only track it,s not like we are not willing ← I know you guys are all very willing, I noticed that when I was there. Very hospitable aswell, I really had a great time. I'm just not sure how able you all are. Maybe Martin (Streettuna) can lead the way and beat the Vic. Geea.

  11. I'm pretty sure my old car was running similar numbers with similar power. It seems that 250rwkw's in an auto is good for around the 12.7 area. How did you find the tyres, the 2.05 60' is a prety good effort with that power. I'm assuming you have a standard stall? Geea.
  12. Which Zoom was it in? I never knew. How/what was in the mag? Geea.
  13. The scale on the right of the dyno graph is A/F not PSI. This tune runs around 18-20psi. Geea.
  14. Do you have more info, such as: 1) type of tyres 2) Exact time with details like 60' and mph 3)Where and temp when run 4) Which dyno the dyno was run on This is the stuff that we'll be able to compare with other cars. Geea.
  15. Ok here's my best effort. The 1/4 is my current PB of 10.68@128mph. This was run on MT ET Streets on a 26C day. The dyno is an independant reading from the AME show in Melbourne last spring. The dyno reading is in rwhp and is equal to 377rwkw's. Whats everyone else got. Geea.
  16. I thought I'd start up a topic on what guys have actually experienced regarding there dyno power figures and how they compare to times they are running at the track. If guys could most as much detali as they can in relation to both we should be able to have a good discusion on power and times. I don't want this to turn into guys abusing each other so keep it factual and no insults. I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread and will be moderating any crap out of it. Geea.
  17. A turbo. Geea.

Give me a ring, I'll tell you what to do and you'll run a 13.95@101mph Geea.

I think there are some models with one side longer. I was originally going to position it over the turbo but after having a play decided I liked it better in the middle. I'm really enjoying having it on the car and watching the heat coming out of the car when stopped makes me realise how much heat the engine bay must be retaining. Geea.

It doesn't work as a CAI. It lets a lot of heat out when the car is stopped and lets cold air in when it's moving. After talking with Deano, I'm probably going to remove part of the rear bonnet seal to let hot air out. This is something I'll look at over the weekend. Geea. ← If you have air moving from the scoop it might make a difference... but I tested this one and intake charge temps didn't change a single bit when removing the rear strip on a 35 deg day.. With the scoop forcing air in, it might be of benefit but I think some vents to suck air out like a venturi ( ala Walkinshaw ) it would be more beneficial.. ??? ← I did contemplate mounting it backwards. I'm not sure if this is still an option I'll have to have a look. Geea.

There is a secret organisation amongst us that is playing Combat Grounds. LINK HERE We have our own secret meeting area on the web and are currently running 3 teams. If your interested in playing have a look at the link. We have a team for first time players and you can progress to the offical XR6Turbo teams when you have learned the game. If after having looked at the game you'd like to know more send either myself of Gogoxr6t a PM and we'll help as much as possible. Geea.

The little old lady just started. My car was parked in front of her house. I got her to stop until I had moved the car. Geea.
  23. You're penciled in Tom, will any of the other croweaters be making the trip? Geea.
