Fpv Drive Day

Well a couple of us FPV nuts in F6 Tornado’s joined with a F6 Typhoon, A Pursuit Ute and 7 GT’s on an FPV Drive day.

Fun Fun Fun and some embarrassing times as well but everyone was in the same boat and I think by the end of the day everyone enjoyed the day.

It started off as you could imagine with some of the GT boys mothering their pride and joy but after an hour or to the boy came out and it was on for young and old with WOT for most of the day.. In fact I would have put the average age there at @ 40~45 but after the second hour you would have thought 17~18 :msm:

One instructor said to me that these Utes are hard to get the tail out!! WTF?? Maybe a 290 Pursuit or a stock F6 maybe! But XRT UTE and myself had no trouble at all and one instructor insisted he do a lap in mine to show me the lines hahahahahahahah His eyes light up when he put the pedal down and more so halfway around the sweeper when she was drifting just nicely.. :blink:

Of course we all listened to the instructors and did just as they said …NOT!!! :fool: I could not help myself and spent most of the time on the rev limiter with smoke bellowing off the tyres…360’s, drifting ..I was chatted by one instructor at least 3 times! but hey I thought we were there to burn rubber lose control and learn how to save it!! :tease:

Us Ute drivers have the extra fun with NO traction control so we spent more time spinning smoking and power drifting.. Awsome fun!!! In a controlled area.

All in all I recommend if you have the opportunity to attend one grab it and have a great day as you will even if you are conservative that will change on the day, Trust me. :blink:

BTW they can keep the GT’s co’s I’ll take the Tornado anyday! in fact I think there was a few very surprised GT owners there scratching their heads as to the performance of these F6’s.

:blink:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

They only have them on certain days, and in WA there are only 2 more before Xmas so they don’t come around all that often.

See if you can’t get it on the same day as some of your mates as the more people you know there the more fun. :msm:

When they send you out all the FPV Propaganda a month or two after buying an FPV it will have all the driver day info and dates in that. So get together and try for the same day.

You will Enjoy :nono:

Your memory is short :blush::blush:

I recall on that same circuit you sitting there in a cloud of smoke facing the wrong direction…. :wub: mmm what was it now? I was 26.** sec and you were like 40.** second plus a 5 sec penalty for downing a witches hat. Hahahahhahah

Now if you drove sedately like I did you could have been as fast as me.
