06/04/04 10:13 AM06/04/04 10:13 AM #17 Author Well, not far into the process and I've experienced my first bump. My dealer rang me yesterday to tell me that the colour I chose (Blood Orange) has now been DELETED and production has stopped in that colour as of this month! I had to choose another colour...Ford have brought out another colour to replace it called "Mandarin". It's a little bit deeper than Blood Orange and it has the metallic look. After much indecision, I eventually picked this colour to cover my new beast I find it very hard to believe that the dealer didn't know that Blood Orange was going to be discontinued at the start of this month and it just left me feeling a little pissed off Oh well, I've picked another colour and production has resumed... This was the thing that frustrated me the most about the buying process. The dealer is supposed to know this stuff. That's their job!My advice to you, is to cease communications with the dealer immediately and start a relationship with the girls in the Melbourne assembly plant(s). Regular calls to them will keep up fully up-to-date with the progress of your preciousssss ... :locked:
