FG G6ET/XR6T Rear muffler swap

Hi Guys,

 

Looking for abit of advice around making my G6ET louder. Ive taken it to my local pit stop (NZ exhaust specialist) they said I have two options. 1 is to delete and straight pipe either middle or rear muffler. 2 is to swap the rear or middle with another performance muffler which will allow for more sound. they said I wont get much more sound out of a cat back and a turbo back will require a tune. 

 

Can any one help? I was thinking of swamping the rear for maybe a big bore? really dont want it to be droney.

you get plenty more sound out of a cat-back as basically all aftermarket systems don't have such convoluted mufflers and this is where you get most of your extra sound, let alone the extra volume for the sound to propogate... not sure what this guy is talking about...

Thanks for the reply! You think it would double the sound? I trying to achieve basically windows down sound inside of the cabin with windows up. noting outrageous but preferably 2x 3x louder than stock. I was considering the Xforce Cat back.
