Guy's I'm in serious trouble my XR6T stalled on me and now won't start!!! :smilielol:

I've found what the problem is! Can any of you guys tell me where I can get a replacement part? See below picture.

I've heard of winding up the elastic band before, but that's just strange!

Its quite common on the BA s lots of guys here have them, cant remember the part no though

Dont worry bout the elastic band alxr6t mine had that there too....l think Ford wa :smilielol: s generous that week with giving them away... :smilielol:

Mine HAD the same problem. Wasn't picked up in pre-delivery either.

I had a look at a couple of other brand new T's in the dealer's yard, and ...

yep.... all had the same problem.

Mine was fixed at the first service

Have a look underneath at the engine mounts to. Mine has shoelaces tied around them! Seriously!

:ta: Had a couple of these myself, two visible in the engine bay and about four underneath . . . if you have trouble finding a replacement at a good price you can get 'em for free from the post office! But seriously, first time I showed the donk to a Expensive Daewoo fan he spied them - you can guess what a raggin' I got. Really professional finish. :ta:
