:loser: I love hearing stories like this Rob!! :gooff:

...........So, what are you going to do when the lease comes up?? (is it a 12 month lease?)

Mark.

Yeh Mark a 12 month lease, for all the fun the $35k salary sac package cost is painful but I will look at re leasing for another 12 months, I still have 6 months left and only 7000k's to do :kissmy:

Cheers Rob

So how is everyones GT's and XR8'S going? Sweet Red had her 15,000ks service a few weeks ago and the only thing to report was that it had apparently used about 500mls 1/2 a litre of oil over those kms (out of around 7 litres so they tell me) big deal.

oton:

Great to hear your beast has lived up to expectations Rob.

Mine is on its last legs, will be sold before the end of the year :gooff: l sat in a MY05 WRX Sti today and know what l will be getting next :kissmy:

It has exceeded my expectations Simon, pity yours hasn't. WRX? good luck with it. What happened with the Merc?

Been a bit of a change of plan.

A promotion with work brings with it a company Landcruiser so that will be the family taxi. Which means l need something to have a little fun in, so an STI it is!!! :kissmy:

What does the Sti retail for?? they are great little car... I took a wrx for a test drive about a month ago.... almost bought it... the STi should be a blast :kissmy:

I think you will miss the space in the GT though.... well I know that at 6 foot 2 and just under 100kg I would LOL.

Nooooooooooooo

Test drive the manual GT liberty first. I really don't think you will be disappointed.

Pretty sure I mentioned this car in that last list I gave you and it now comes with a manual option.

There is also the new 6 cylinder model that is better again.

Day to day this car has better livability and nearly as much fun. It provides you with greater options that I am sure you can appreciate. It doesn't make as many compromises as the WRX does.

Great to hear Rob, apart for the oil consumption the 'Fox' is still an amazing car, and so much fun to drive.

Had her nearly 12 months now and still get heaps of thumbs up's, admiring nods and comments like, "Awesome car man", "Love your GT mate" etc; The only negative comment was...."You've got a very distinctive car there, if I catch you again I'll book ya!" :nono:

The brake squeal fix has worked completely, the replacement pads are fantastic, No more cringing every time you pull up at the lights. The Premium brakes do perform quite adequately, glad I did'nt shell out the extra for the Brembos.

I will test drive the F6 when my dealer gets one in, or if hypnodoc is kind to me (hint, hint) :ermm: but there is no way I will part with the Fox........yet!!! :ermm:

Your welcome mate, but they have told me I'll be waiting till at least mid next month for the bloody thing so I'm wondering if I should wait for an 05 plate. In the meantime I'm going to fit the new twin T/Body & Plenumn chamber from BPT, then take the GT back to Merc turbo land (wooo hooo, the Nullabor again) for some new cams that work with a smooth idle and have enabled a GT to crack 300rwkw with a unichip tune, got 25,000klm on The Beasty now and it still goes like a stung cat, never used any oil. :msm:
