July 6, 20188 yr #1 Ba started to blow thick white smoke especially at idle, when taking off easy at lights and downshifting to take corners. Cruising or under h abt acceleration it doesn’t seem as bad. Anyways, had it checked out and it is not turbo seals or valve stem seals but a suspected ring issue in #6 due to excessive oily plug. funny thing is it is not burning excessive oil (not showing on dip stick) and still gets up and boogies with no dramas at all with great oil pressure readings etc. anyone else been down this lonely garden path?
July 6, 20188 yr #3 Author More so when cold but still does it at normal operating temp. 6 was only down 5psi from the others and I think it may be a head gasket now. oil from dip stick shows no signs of milky ness but in the catch can it does....but I thought that was due to condensation in the can. White smoke does come out of the can also at times. Edited July 6, 20188 yr by Dean01
