hmmf Donating Members 1 Member For: 7y 11m 14d Posted 18/05/17 02:11 PM Share Posted 18/05/17 02:11 PM My little bit of advice to anyone renewing the centre bearing mount on a BA falcon is to avoid using cheap universal joints, mine had only managed to reduce the vibration to a loud hum and two cheap universal joints later I was advised to use a quality spicer uni joint and the hum and vibration were cured. So stay away from cheap uni joints the job is too big to waste time with cheap parts. The hardy spicer unit is only 50 or 60 bucks anyway and is solid compared to the hollow cheapies that cost 30 bucks.
