arp2000 head studs with out removing the head

hi all

 

im half way through replacing the head bolts with studs.

 

chasing info on what pattern to undo the head bolts down to there first stage ill then replace each one one at a time

 

the arp box says to torque them down to 100 foot pounds and ill be doing that in 3 equal steps. but ive got atomic oversize washer to go with the studs so should I got a little tighter?

and what torque should I tighen the caps for the cams back to

 

only asking because I legit cant find the info on the net

Usually you do a spiral type pattern outwards, more important when doing them up.

I haven't built a twin cam, but sohc I went 115 on the studs and it's around 40 on the cam caps.

I don't recommend the method you're going about but that's up to you  

 

no it's not a spiral ( head torque sequence ) and no their ( cam caps ) not 40nm
