Injector o-rings

Hey guys, replaced my fuel pressure regulator today, noticed no#1, 2 and 5 injectors had a second o-ring inside where the injector fits into the fuel rail. It seems the shop who installed the upgraded injectors have used second o-rings as spacers to stop the injector moving in and out both in the fuel rail and in the plenum.

There are no fuel or air leaks so I'm not worried about that, my question is how much variation is there in the depth of the holes the injectors sit in, is this a normal thing or.? Anyone else seen this.?

I think you will find that when they have pulled the injector out the o ring has stayed in the rail by accident. I know mine did the very first time I removed the standard injectors.

Pretty easy to leave in there as you don't pull the rail completely off often.
