Have the factory 19's with 245s that are due to be replaced shortly (rear tyres). Can that rim take a wider tyre, like a 275? Will there be any issues with clearance? What profile height would it be for this?

Should be written on your tyre mate.... 245 35 19 I believe is stock.

From a road legal perspective I think 245 is the widest you can go on the 8" stock rims.

People seem to be able to whack 275s on stock rims BUT only for their drag tyres...hopefully a pro will chime in as to why this is the case? My guess would be something to do with the tyre peeling off :P

I'm not one to argue with those who are wiser than me...

But ill just leave this here...maybe American or Canadian website is wrong?
