May 5, 201511 yr #1 Hi, Im new here. Im looking at putting an FG turbo engine in my torana. What I would like to know is with a built bottom end and stock cams with good springs, would I be able to make 400rwkw on pump 98? Is 6500rpm feasible with stock cams? Id probably be using a 66mm BW turbo on a custom manifold, custom plenum , microtech etc. Cheers

May 5, 201511 yr #4 Author Yes.Read signature below. Is that on 98? What rpm are you using? Just trying to workout the gearing.
May 5, 201511 yr #5 road car, burnout car, track car?microtech is very basic and will limit some of your power spread and control
May 5, 201511 yr #6 Author Street/drag, so I sought of want an RPM limit in mind so I know what diff gears to go with to cross the line at the RPM I want. Microtech's are basic which is kinda why I like them lol. As for the cam control I was just going to put adjustable cam gears on it and adjust them for peak power, Im not overly worried about the curve. I usually have RB's with big turbo's which are laaaaag then hit lol.

May 5, 201511 yr #9 Is that on 98? What rpm are you using? Just trying to workout the gearing.Would be guessing around 5500rpm.Yes on BP98.E85 is not in enough places here in Perth for me to get access to easily.
May 10, 201511 yr #10 Stock rev limit is around 6500 isnt it? I know a few guys run their stock internal fg's to 7000, cant imagine it making much more power above that without cams though. Really keen to see what the s366 makes, would have thought it wouldnt be far behind precision units which are putting down as much as 430-440rwkw on 98 on stock internal engines. Built bottom end and some more boost should easily surpass that. What housing did you go for? From memory only the .88 is undivided and although a small A/R they use a 73mm turbine so shouldnt choke it at higher revs.
