just found the guy that has a patrol-maveric turbo 6 conversion . it is under ECU workshop ,standalone ecu conversion .best options ?

hope this helps you . get in contact with him he would know a lot more about it then me . sorry I do not want to waste your time as I am no mechanic . I have only done a turbo 6

conversion on my xt ba v8 ute[

yes I did not know a lot when I started ,but have a bit of knowledge now . ps thanks again for the people that helped me with info (barnz especially )

getting back to the auto what street machine magazine recommends is the turbo 400

th400 will be the cheapest option in the long run for your car. Conversion costs will soon be absorbed by better life and cheaper rebuild costs compared to the BTR/ION 4 spd or the Zf

Yeah copy that. My shorty is a diesel at the moment so wont need a computer to run the auto like patrol boxes and the likes. At the end of the day 600 kw is the aim for the car. And that's only just to keep up with my mates let alone get past hahaha

just thought he may know where to get a transfer case to suit you shorty ,he has more threads going as well not just the ECU one

Have a chat to Brad at insane performance. He and Zane done a great job on my Tornado last month and are about the best you will get unless you head far south.
