It had a problem with revving out wich let to be a dirty boostController solenoid . I don't no to much about turbos so bear with me please.A few days ago I took it to the mechanic because when I drive the car and saySit on 80 drives perfect but if I back of and let the revs drop down the gears Once I'm at a dead stop the car wants to stall. Also about 2/3 times a day the checkEngine light will come on and the car goes into (limp mode) I think. But if I turn the Car off and straight back on I'm good to go. So I gave it to the mechanic he done A diagnostic on it and I have attached the result he had no idea so I'm no better of After giving it to him! Although he did notice no bov apparently the previous owner Removed it and now it's "dosing" so I'm not sure if that could be the problem.Any input would be awesome I really want to get it sorted! Also if you could recommendA bov that still has a nice flutter that would be great. What are your long term and short fuel trims sitting at?(you should be able to check on your scanner) Your o2 sensor may be on its way out. Coils and plugs are worth checking also. Could be fuel reg or something weird as well I spose although I haven't personally heard of them failing much. Battery is probably the cheapest one to try first, then tps, bcm last. BA series turbo and V8 always had a low idle and would often stall when pulling up to traffic lights etc and manual gearbox more so than automatic. If you plan on keeping the car and modifying then a tune will fix the low idle/stall by idling the engine at 850rpm Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88942-2004-ba-xr6-turbo-troubles-please-help/#findComment-1491812 Share on other sites

Good place to start anyway Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88942-2004-ba-xr6-turbo-troubles-please-help/#findComment-1491855 Share on other sites
