Fg Exhaust On A Budget

Hi guys

I'm after the final piece of the puzzle before I can get my first tune- the exhaust.

I decided on a mild 4" turbo back xforce for my fg ute but now can't find anywhere to buy one for the right price. So firstly can anyone point me in the right direction to someone I can talk to about pricing/ buying this system. (Already got a price from xforce on here but it was $500 more than best mufflers price, however best mufflers don't have this system on their site anymore)

Secondly are there any other systems around the $1600 mark that people have had great success with? I know your gonna hate me but I'm young and I like them loud!

mate a mild stell is 1050, if you can get the stainless get that in 3.5. right in your pricerange (1550) they still have a 4 inch dump and are just as loud. Some guys have goen as fa as removing the rear muffler, and 3.5 will handle 450-500rwkw no worries

Oh ok, what do you think flows better/ volume between the 3.5 cat back or the twin 2.5? Also I've heard the mild has a nicer sound?

Yeh might give it a try haha. Back to mild vs stainless. What's the difference?

Someone more knowledgeable than me can weigh in..

Mild is more subject to expansion/contraction.. Stainless generally comes with a 5-10 year warranty compared to milds 2-3 year..

I don't notice all that much difference in sound on the Turbo 6's that I've heard though..

Stainless does still expand/contract (learnt this for the first time the other day from the place that is workIng on my car) but as said above.....will/should last quite a bit longer so for the bit xtra, a better option imo

Mild has a deeper, warmer note, stainless is a sharper sound, from what I've been told. I have mild steel Manta 2x2.5". Never bothered recording it though

One bloke reckoned mild steel pipes with stainless mufflers sounded great on his XR and got people asking what he had.
