Hoping you guys can help me out here.

My BA MK2 xr6t has started developing pulsating lights. It doesn't do it all the time but when it does all the lights on the car pulse quite quickly, dash, radio, interior light, headlights etc. The car still drives fine. I found another thread on here with a simular issue and people said it could be the alternator.

As it doesn't do it all the time I was thinking it may be an earth problem.

Does anyone know how many earth points there are and where abouts they are? I would like to check those first before paying out for a new alternator.

Battery or earth maybe, start with easy bits first.

run a separate earth (thick) straight from the battery and alternator to the body.

even if it doesnt fix this particular problem is a good thing.

Thanks guys. Got it fixed. Ended up being the alternator caused by the dreaded power steering hose leak. So now I have to fix that to.
