Has anyone tried uprating their waste-gate actuator? If so, what are the best on the market (currently). All feedback is welcome. No need for waste gate actuator. Exponential boost increase with RPM.

Usually double what the actuator is capable of. Eg a 7psi actuator is good to about 14psi. The garret actuators work very well.

I just tied a knot in the hose , but should have used the ball bearing method as I only made 33.3 PSI

PA - Phillip Member 7 Member For: 10y 3m 24d Posted 01/01/14 01:57 PM Author Share Posted 01/01/14 01:57 PM I put a ball bearing in my waste gate hosexand made 42lbs of boost. By adding a ball bearing to the pressure hose this renders the actuator useless, thus having no boost relief curve. Will just be a sharpe on off with your boost which is not good for the turbo Kind regards, PA
