Probably an amatuer question but im trying to get to the bottom of something. When coilpacks/plugs are gone does the car usually idle really rough after giving it a bit of a boost or is that from the valve springs. Cheers. And is it unsual for it to do it occasionally. Got the car re tuned a few months ago with a new actuator because I was after more power and my tuner said it seemed fine on the dyno. However it is still doing it from time to time. Doing my head in! and to make it worse got the turbo rebuilt because last week because old one shat itself and when the tuner took the car for a road test he said it seemed fine even but it is far from fine. Should I start with the plugs or change the valve springs first? First thing in the mornings my car is a bit rough and nearly stalls sometimes but after driving like 300 meters it's fine. New springs and it never did it again and picked up a few mph at the track 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/86771-difference-between-failing-valve-springs-and-stuffed-coilsplugs/#findComment-1440386 Share on other sites
