I think the good Doc drove a Monaro on a test drive, didn't buy it cause the doors fell off, the motor blew up and gearbox locked up before he could get it back to the yard.

:)

The salesman escorted him back to the Ford Dealer

Not to mention the power steering pump blew up. :banghead:

congrats doc, what colour did you get? I suppose super charging the beast is your next step!

anyway enjoy the beast!

:ta:

Thanks you fellow Ford Fanatics. Man what a trip this was, sposed to be Lightening Strike in Feb. I was going to standardise it and keep the T until then, but what confirmed it all as a final omen to speed up the process was that while taking out the unichip injectors etc it had 2 tie down straps on the bum and when the guys at Formaz were doing the final retune, it broke both straps and lept off the dyno (should have seen the look on the tuners face) he hit the brakes and the front bumper headbutted the blower fan and sent it flying. I was watching this and I don't know who

sh!t themselves more him or me. End result was white paint marks all over the bumper which came off with cutting compound. This was all a confirmation for me to let it go.

Went to Titan Ford to get quote, saw an awesome Pearl Blue GT-P only 2 in the state apparently, signed up and someone either clipped it or scratched it that night. Went into blind furious panic and ended up with 5 speed man GT in BLUEPRINT with silver GT stripes, awesome car. Not as nimble as the T around town though, but has more constant power up top.

I need to thank the guys at Formaz for all the work they did while being constantly thwarted by crook FMC components. They removed the injectors, and the unichip, setting the car back to standard, this took them half a day and they refused to charge me a cent

Now I just have to get 5000klm up on this thing so I can blow it and catch the stage 2 & 3 Ts :finger:

Thanks for putting up with my b**ching and negativity as my T frustrated me near to the point of madness. I love those cars and will get a series 2, and for any of you in the vastly significant MINORITY such as myself who got a bad one theres only 2 things you can do.

1. Be patient and persistent

2. Go get yourself a dirty great big 290kW V8 grunter and feel the ultimate sensation as the front lifts between gears under acceleration as the eyeballs strain to see over that wonderful bonnett bulge.

Will Never Get Enough Of This. :finger:

:finger::kiss: Unfortunately though, that sounds a bit like his old turbo.

:finger:

Mate warts and all my turbo was still streets ahead of anything that the enemy could will have or can produce. Stuffed up the build number, it's not 709 it's 729. :ta:
