Hi all, I found this forum while searching for info on the G6ET, looks like lots of good information which is great.

I bought mine 3 months ago, an '09 in Ego(?) Grey. I love it to bits and am really happy with the way it drives, bar a couple of niggles.

I've done a couple of searches on the forum and it seems I have the HIM problem. Intermittently, the a/c on the passenger side will go warm and even when cold, it's not as cold as the driver side. I wasn't able to figure out, is this the start of the problem? Or is that it? Solution is to get a new one? They seem pricey.

Other thing is the distortion on the standard sub, I like my music loud, sometimes at least and it doesn't seem up to it. I read about reversing the polarity, is this the best solution or a better sub and extra amp?

Lastly, I took the car to a dyno day, running on 98 and 16 degree temperature, it made 251.2rwkw, which seems like a lot? I have read they produce more than standard, but this seems excessive. As far as I know, it's completely standard. I was thinking of Herrod hose kit, remap/chip and trans cooler as well.

Any comments or info on the above gratefully received.

Hi all, after 6 months, I'm starting to think more is better....

I can get an HDi intercooler for $nzd 1028 or a Process West for $nzd 1687. Any thoughts or advice?

What injectors do people typically use and what do you pay for them in Aus? I've been quoted $1000 plus for injectors, does this sound right?

It will get a tune as well, do I need to/should I do anything to the exhaust as well?

Should I worry about the ZF box?

I've had a hunt through numerous threads, just want to see what current advice is.

Cheers, Scott.

Did you fix the other problems?

The reason most ppl cant find the answers on here they are looking for is because ppl ask a million questions in one thread rather than the thread the part of the topic is about but rarely post what THEY did to fix it.

The search queries then end up with a million hits and no answers.

You mean the sub and HIM? Sub turned out to be trim rattling in the boot and as long as the a/c blows cold on drivers side, I'll live with it. 95% of the time it blows cold both sides.

From reading the forum, I think what I was proposing above is the right way to go.

Go the process west over the HDi in my mind. It will be a much better product.

Maybe just a highflow cat for the exhaust, I've got BF model so don't know about your exhaust.

Injectors depends on how much power you want. Whose going to tune it?
