can't do typhoon snorkel on the F series, you do the V8 box and snorkel, My test showed a clean factory filter flowed as well as a K&N at 300 rwkw

By clean factory filter, do you mean Ford motorcraft filter or just a paper filter such a ryco etc?

My filter is due for replacement and was wondering if its worth spending $$ on a K&N or similar.

At present have SS Widemouth with deflector setup & Heinrich tune. Have on order injectors and will have valve springs installed shortly so at best will be pushing high 200's at a guess (stock exhaust), so would paper filter still be worth while for now rather than K&N?

A K&N can be cleaned over and over for just the cost of a cleaning kit, sp long term it would be cheaper to get a K&N

Fair enough - but you stated above that a clean filter is good for 300rwkw, so does this imply that there aren't any flow differences?
