Rowdy is pointing you in the right direction, check the eye bushes and also check if the steel tube in the centre of the eye bush is rubbing into the rail

I had an XG that did that.

Sprayed around the leaves with CRC and that cured it till the next time it rained and it got washed away.

Once the rain dried off the springs it would creak again. f*cken POS.

My ute used to creak in the rear at slow speeds. Turned out to be the tailgate moving slightly.

Problem solved!

U-bolts that wrap around the diff, I put loctite on them

And tightened them up completely

Amazing how many turns I got out of them!

Lesson learned.

Inspect your pride after another one has done work on it!

Then again this could be wear and tear.

Mine started doing this a couple of days ago. Took it into Pitlane today, tightened U bolts and its fixed.
