Winter Performance

Well the air is getting colder and denser and the F6E starts running more responsive down low and quicker overall, particularly in the colder mornings. So this leads me to a question, I have a stock intercooler currently, if I upgraded to a PW stage 2 intercooler could I expect a similar response and performance when the weather warms up? I know the overall HP can be increased with a retune, but its that reponsive low down torque that really interests me.

Going off your sig then yea more than likely, your stock cooler would be struggling quite a bit at 330rwkw, that's probably why it feels so much better in winter

I'd say no. On a hot day the intercooler cant cool the air any cooler than ambient temps, so it will never be the same as a winters day.. It will improve heat soak and generally perform be better than your stock cooler, but its not a 'fridge' so to speak..
