This Exhaust Housing Any Good?

I was looking for an exhaust housing I could use for a porting mod. Found this one from Japan on ebay at $156. I want to be able to return the car to stock so I wanted an extra housing. At that price its not a dissaster if I stuff it up. Anybosy see or know of any problems with this housing?

It's different mate, the dump flange is different to the xr one...

Have a look at rapid systems or gcg turbos... one of them does housings for exchange or sale.. pretty cheap too I think...

Yes the exchange is not too bad. I jyst wanted an exttra housing so I could return it to stock if I need to. that's why I was so excited when I saw that ebay one for $150ish

Why would you want to return it to stock.??

And that housing is completely wrong.. not only is it the wrong AR.

It also only t2 flange, so It wouldn't even bolt on.

epa aren't going to notice or care about a ported housing.

will it have an effect on emissions though? Cant see how it would?

If I return the rest of the car to stock parts and stock tune will the car run fine with ported housing or would it need a tune?

Nope,

it may run slightly less boost with the ported housing but apart from that I really can't see it being an issue.
