Hi folks, I am currently thinking about how an anti surge / baffle system can be incorporated with the fuel pump cradle. I was thinking that a simple baffle located around the fuel cradle, however simple would actually be quite effective. I was wondering how PVC plumbing pipe would handle fuel submersion. Anyway I'm all ears and would love to read some possible solutions. Cheers problem solvers !!!

Nizpro made an in tank surge setup. Not sure if it ever went into full production though.

Manual and stock you should be ok, why not try sourcing an fg unit from someone who buys a KPM intank. Better design.

Or just buy the KPM setup

Hard work already done

*Waits for KPM spammed advert

Impellor you would have to have the most over engineered stock car known to man.

Well as I'm doing a pump upgrade, to go with my new 60lber's I thought that I may as well improve on the current system. I have spoken to a couple of people and all have agreed that some type of baffling would increase safety. By the way if you have a look on ebay you can now buy the KPM (type) 400lph system with E85 pumps for $395. But what I'm thinking is something that surrounds the cradle and allows fuel in but not out.

On another note I have just got hold of a factory BA/BF plenum, so now I will be looking into polishing it, and seeing how I can improve internal flow. So I will report back when finished with some pics and points of interest (what I consider as areas that my be improved).

Currently the car is stock bar, my CAI and, port and polished crossover, monza cooler, and rear muffler removed. Made 223.4RWKW's @ 5 psi, on mainline dyno.

So now I'm wanting to see what I can extract with a custom tune with upgraded fuel system. My only other mod is to improve the piping on cold side, so that the car looks essentially stock.

Cheers

Monza cooler... Wouldn't touch anything else until that's replaced.

Yes, in good time. Will go Nizpro. But I'm interested to see how far the monza will go.Can't do it all at once, because then what would I do. Already reno'ed the house. Can only mow the lawn/clean the pool so often. Look at the end of the day, I have no doubt at some stage an atomic motor, or similar will be the end result, with a power figure that will only be useful in a dyno comp.

Cheers
