I must say that the alpine software was not the problem (sorry alpine co). It worked fine for me today on my 64 bit windows 7 home premium computer.Since I first tried to do it I've done a factory restore to my computer. Installed the alpine software, plugged it into my car and it worked first go without drama. NO running as administrator, no virtual windows, no hassles at all, took about 10 mins from starting install to having it running in the car.Butttttttt the outcome on sound was less than impressive, actually quite disappointing. I have read that it can take alot of fiddling to get it to sound good so it may be my fault again and I may need to put more time into it. Its not a plug and play type thing though. Needs either alot of time or experience with the product. Edited 29/12/12 06:09 AM by knoles
