hello,

I have a 2004 m11 ba typhoon and have had a few problems with the aluminum diff cover

it has been reinforced from mal wood but have had the bolt shere off and the housing smashed,

got it welded up and re-tapped and heli-coiled back up, and then when racing snapped second gear and smashed the cover again.

have replaced the cover with a new one and has been reiforced again, is there anything more that I can do to the cover or any orther part of the car to reasure that this will not accure during racing, burnouts ect..?

cheers guys

You should fit super pro poly bushes to stop the diff moving around so much.

You need part numbers SPF2654-70K and SPF3148AK :spoton:

Considering it is impossible to tune a 6spd manual, I would not listen to whoever is giving you this "advice"....

No worries, if you want to learn, make sure you have a look through the forum in the technical section.

Just about every pinned topic will teach you pretty much everything a BA/BF/FG turbo owner should know about their cars

There's a top notch suspension shop in Penrith that will sort out all of your car's problems...... I heard the guy at the front counter is very patient, and willing to listen to all your concerns.

aka wiki style

Also if you bring the guy on the front desk a mid 90's Microsoft ergonomic keyboard in good condition he will make you a milo.
