voy74656 voy74656 Member 2,039 Member For: 22y 10m 19d Location: Adelaide Posted 03/01/04 04:54 AM Posted 03/01/04 04:54 AM my 2 cents...my dad was harvesting and had to fill up the harvester with fuel...the fuelcap is on the back of the harvester - you've gotta climb up a ladder to get to it.So dad's happily filling away...all done...off he goes...gets a load of wheat...comes back..unloads the wheat into the field bin...and reverses back to fill up the field bin....he notices the harvester is having a little trouble reversing....He gets out and notices he's flattened the fuel tanker......theres over 1000 litres of diesel on the ground... the fuel tanker has a flattened crease right through the middle.......needless to say no wheat will grow there for a few years to come.The harvester didnt even have a scratch...iiinteresting. They make those case harvesters to last.
