hey guys,

I recently bought a 2006 BA MKll xr6t 6speed auto.

I want to know which would be the best ways to start on increasing its performance.. Should I start off with a new exhaust system first? A chip upgrade? I have no idea where to start exactly.. Any advice is helpful.

Thanks

Find a GOOD tuner in your area, and hand over about $2500 for a custom tune, hi flo cat, and injectors. Low- mid 12 sec pass's.

You will want more after a few months though.

Or you don't wanna spend that much yet?

After that, a good cooler kit will a turbo side intake. Check out process west/ plazmaman/nizpro

Do a full exhaust, wastegate port, fuel pump and you have a seriously quick car.

The trick to keeping it all together though is choosing the right tuner.
