hey guys

was just wondering what 300+rwkw feels like. I have never modded a car before and my previous cars where a 6.5t isuzu npr tipper 114 kw (beast haha) and before that a diahatsu tipper (yuk)

so I have a pretty much stock fg ute and and waiting to install in rapid V2.0 cooler kit, siemens injectors, venom cat, xcal, valve springs.

so compared to standard I know it will feel like there is more power but how noticeable is it?

I had a mate years ago had an 2001 wrx and whever ever he hit that gas (it was stock) you would get slammed into the seat. will 300 do this or because it is a bigger car do you need even more mods and power?

was thinking if this is the case then I might as well do the housing and actuator on the turbo. so wondering what power should be expected by that mod on top of the other things I am installing. any help would be greatly appreciated

cheers

ps top notch site and some of the guys on this are nuts!

yeah I went though tonnes of them last night just reading what mods the fg's have to get there numbers and what not. why does it take some little effort to hit 300 in a fg then a ba/bf?

is it because of the smaller turbo or something

yep- small turbo gets fg off the line real quick- but tops out at 320ish :(

if you want big power out of an fg then you need to buy an f6 or put a turbo from a ba/f or aftermarket bigger one...

but the when you want bigger power you put an f6 or bf turbo in haha but lags heaps.....so back to question.....do you get shot into your seat with 300 if you can get traction?
