yes it can but it gives it as a value that then needs to be pumped into a formula to give a boost in PSI ,

datalog a pull up a hill,

review the log and get the highest value and whack it in the formula to get boost in PSI

in your case I would reccomend buying a boost gauge to help diagnose your fault.

autometer cobalts(to match the dash) are 100 bucks , and a well worth investment if you have mods.
