-20 Vac @ Wot

hi guys first post! I've got a fg tuned to 12psi xforce xhaust and coolerworx pipes. when I floor it my boost gauge snaps to -20 vac and goes nowhere. if I squirt it normal it will still boost pretty normal showing 5-10psi and feels good? I thought if I had a boost leak the vac would still go to zero or am I wrong? thanks

Could be a leak in the vac itself or faulty boost gauge. Does the car still continue to accelerate normally when this happens?

it feels slow like theres no turbo but continues to rev out. what do you mean there could be no vac?

#4

Maybe the actuator sh*t itself. Have never seen this problem before tbh

Is the car turbo?

#6

Sounds like you've busted a pipe off somewhere mate, the pipes have been changed so go over all of the joins and make sure the clamps are all done up tight

no if hes getting boost under part throttle.

id be doind some datalogging and paying attention to the the map value and and torque limit requests

I would then expect 0 at WOT not -20. so im thinking the ECU is commanding the T/B closed , we need more explation on "goes nowhere"

Elaboration is the key here, like most questions asked on any forum we can guess all day but without a bit more info who knows
